My first step from a long
journey

My journey“…I am a seed looking for a proper
pot to be sowed in. A pot that offers me a soil rich in minerals,
that will help me grow and bloom, bringing smiles on the faces that watch me. I know you are that
proper pot and that is why I choose to apply to your course. Will you be
willing to help me bloom?”

1. An open window towards Interior
DesignHaving taken the decision to apply to an interior design course, I have opened the
window towards this wonderful world, that has been unknown to me until recently. In front of
your eyes are the fruits gathered during my expedition
in this new world.
We all sometimes feel like withdrawing from the crowd and fleeing from all the noise and
grayness that characterize our society. These chairs look truly welcoming, while the pink hues create such an intimate atmosphere, that this
place seems to be just perfect for relaxing, forgetting everything and only enjoying the
company of someone special.
1. An open window towards Interior Design
The sun's rays are yellow, the sky is blue, the clouds are white, the
soil is brown, the stones are grey…
This bedroom would be the place where you could rest peacefully
in the arms of the colors that make nature such a brilliant
place.

An abstract art gallery, where geometric shapes blend with
curved lines and spirals.

2. Understanding the miracle of being able
to seeWe, human beings generally tend to seek and admire the exceptional, the unseen, the
new and most interesting, and ignore everything that is tiny and ordinary. However, when
you start drawing, you discover shades and hues without which your drawing is flat, unreal and
lifeless. This is what I discovered while drawing
simple objects.
This is a sketch made
for my drawing class
at school when I was
13 years old. At that time I had no idea whatsoever what kind of course would I be applying
to in four years' time.
2. Understanding the miracle of being able to see
The warmth of candles and old books
2. Understanding the miracle of being able to see
There is a balance that weights kind words and angry shouts, smiles and tears, hard work and lost time… But what if there was a balance for colours,
too? What would it show? Is there such thing as noteworthy colours or insignificant hues?
2. Understanding the miracle of being able to see
Look,, there is a floating Rubik's
cube!
Well, in fact I have only
experimented with optical illusions...
2. Understanding the miracle of being able to see
This shelf with seaside ornaments and the painting would look great in the
living room of a coastal home, because of bringing inside the house the
vibrancy of the forever restless sea.
2. Understanding the miracle of being able to see
The grace of the swan, the love of a mother's heart and the usefulness of a flower pot
in one object...
2. Understanding the miracle of being able to see
A tea cup and a pear for the lunch break... But besides that, I also had in my school bag paper and pencil! And look,, this is the result at the
end of the day...
2. Understanding the miracle of being able to see
The world without colors would be just like a white sheet of paper: austere, boring and depressing.

3. SketchesOpening the window towards the world of interior design
means working, and working a lot. It means trying and
going on and always working on something...
A sketch of a spacious bathroom. The bathtub and the shower are
separated by glass doors from the rest of the bathroom.

3. Sketches
Only looking for a design that would improve my family's one-room
apartment... I have found the Murphy bed on Internet, and I would consider it
extremely useful for a small room like this one.
