More than 200 dedicated community volunteers invest more than8,000hourseachyearcarefullyevaluatingthe65agenciesandtheir funding requests. These trained volunteers make sure your gift supports programs proven to make a difference in our community, making the Tulsa Area United Way the best way to help the most people.

Last year, nearly 700,000 people received help in the Tulsa area from one of our 65 health and human service member agencies. That’s 60,000+ more people served than 2006. Some only once, some every day for the rest of their lives for them to survive.

Where the money goes

“The 83rd campaign of theTulsaArea United Way is underway.

Again this year, for the 10th year in a row, our goal is over $20 million. $23,266,434tobeexact!

With all the exciting plans for development and growth in our area, it is imperative to keep the health and human services aspect of our community strong. The

umbrella of services provided by our 65 member agencies is critical to our future.

I ask you to join the thousands of companies, organizations, foundations and individuals who, with their contributions, help over 2,500 people every day in our six county service area.

You can make an incredible difference because . . .

It all begins with you!”
