Time Signatures A time signature is how the beats play in rhythm. You’ll find ‘em at the start of the staff right after the clef symbol
The main ones you’ll use are 4/4 (standard/common) and ¾ (waltz) until you grasp a greater understanding of the rhythms. Stick with 4/4 until you find the need to expand the complexity of your rhythm.
The top number is how many beats there are in a measure.
The bottom is which note is considered a beat. Ex: 4=quarter note, 2=half, 8=eighth etc.
• To insert notes, click to select the desired beat.
• Once the beat is selected, click any note on the piano to insert that note.
Inserting notes
• If you have any other unanswered questions and no one can assist you, use the help tab on the top and search for what you need.
• There are many other things to edit within your song, such as dragging the notes, right-click and edit properties, etc.
• There are also other types of rhythms and note articulations to work with.
