The following is a letter from the chairs of the Assessment, Evalua-
tion, and Research Knowledge Community. You can find contact information for Michael and Jeanna on page 8. Enjoy!
Dear Colleagues:
We’re a week away from NASPA’s
annual conference, and if you’re planning on
joining us in Indianapolis, we encourage you to
take part in the numerous AER KC activities
that will be taking place while we’re together in
Indy.
If you’re anything like us, you’ve got a
keen interest in everything assessment-related.
Consider attending one (or all) of this year’s
AER KC sponsored sessions. You can learn
more on page 3.
We’re also always looking for volunteers
interested in moving the KC’s work forward.
We’re excited to be introducing several new
“work groups” this year, including professional
development, coaching and mentorship, and
communications. If you’re interested in
becoming more active in the KC, please stop by
the AER KC table at the “Communities and
Grad Prep Fair” Monday, March 14, 2016
from 7pm – 9pm in the Exhibit Hall (at the
JW Marriott Indianapolis).
And don’t forget to attend the KC’s
business meeting Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at
7am (yes, 7am!) in Grand Ballroom X (also
at the JW Marriott Indianapolis).
Assessment is everywhere, and our time
in Indy will provide you with many
opportunities to become even more familiar
with assessment best practices as well as
opportunities to become even more engaged in
NASPA through the Assessment, Evaluation
and Research KC!
We hope to see you in Indy!
Mike and Jeanna
