Welcome to the February edition of Around Rugby!
@aroundmagazines
facebook.com/AroundMagazines
2013 is well underway now and we are all coming to terms with aftermath of December and January. But we do have things to celebrate. Rugby Borough Council is set to freeze our Council Tax again this year so a big ‘Thank You’ to the powers that be for that one! Work is progressing well on our new Sports Centre. The Ken Marriott Centre is due to close its doors for the last time on 31 March with the new Queens Diamond Jubilee Centre set to open in July 2013. And, Spring is just around the corner.
By the way, how are your New Year’s resolutions coming along? Are you still on track, wavering a little or have you lost it all together? If you are still on track – well done, you’ve managed it for a whole month already. If you’re struggling, don’t be downhearted. Get your list out and start again. It’s never too late!!!
This month we have The Brownsover Hall and The Draycote Hotels advertising their Valentine’s events, a lovely little Valentine’s Day wordsearch
to get you in the mood and a new advertisement for an over-50’s social club.
Also in the magazine this month, we have two more competitions for you. Angels Hair and Beauty offer us the opportunity to win a £30.00 Beauty Voucher to spend on their services and The Paddox Pub invites us to enter their competition to win a meal voucher. Both are redeemable during March and April 2013. The winner of our January competition courtesy of Platform One Restaurant will be announced in next month’s edition (March).
