SAfETY GUIDElINES• Avoid working alone. If an accident happens, an assistant can bring help.
• Avoid electric shock. Use extreme caution when mounting this product onto a stable surface around un-insulated conductors or vehicle bars. Prevent body contact with grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges, and cabinet enclosures.
• Keep work area clean. Never operate the product near flammable substances like gasoline, naphtha, cleaning solvents, etc. Work in a clean, well-ventilated area free of combustible materials. Cluttered areas invite injuries.
• Never use oxygen, carbon dioxide, combustible gases or any other bottled gases as an air source for the tool. Such gases are capable of explosion and serious injury to persons.
• Do not exceed maximum pressure of 300 PSI. Use compressed air regulated to a maximum pressure at or below the rated pressure of any attachments to this product.
• Disconnect the tool from the air source before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the tool. Such preventative safety measures reduce the risk of starting the tool unintentionally.
• Observe work area conditions. Don’t expose to rain. Keep work area well lit.
• Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times, which enables better control of the tool in unexpected situations.
• Keep children away. Children must never be allowed in the work area. Do not let them handle machines, tools, extension cords, or air hoses.
• Store idle equipment. When not in use, the product must be stored in a dry location to inhibit rust. Always lock up tools and keep out of reach of children.
• Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery as they can be caught in moving parts. Protective, electrically non-conductive clothes and non-skid footwear are recommended when working. Wear restrictive hair covering to contain long hair.
• Protect your eyes by wearing safety glasses or a face shield when mounting and using this product.
• Maintain the product with care. Inspect hose periodically and, if damaged, have it repaired by an authorized technician.
• Use the right tool for the job. Do not attempt to force a small tool or attachment to do the work of a larger industrial tool. There are certain applications for which this product was designed. Do not modify this product and do not use this product for a purpose for which it was not intended.
• Stay alert. Watch what you are doing. Use common sense. Do not operate any tool when you are tired.
• Check for damaged parts. Before using any tool, any part that appears damaged should be carefully checked to determine that it will operate properly and perform its intended function. Check for alignment and binding of moving parts, any broken parts or mounting fixtures, and any other condition that may affect proper operation. Any part that is damaged should be properly repaired or replaced by a qualified technician.

SETUPIMPORTANT: This product is already assembled before it leaves the factory. It can be mounted to a stable surface like a workbench, wall, floor, or ceiling directly with hardware (not provided). However, it is recommended that the following steps be taken for less fatigue in mounting hose reel to surface.
1. Disassemble bottom base (1) from reel bracket (2) by using two open-end wrenches (not provided). (fig. 1)
2. Mount bottom base (1) to a suitable location on a bench, wall, floor or ceiling, etc. by fitting proper hardware (not provided) through three holes of the bottom base (1). Make sure that the bottom base (1) is mounted tightly and securely. (fig. 2)
IMPORTANT: If you pre-drill, make sure not to drill a hole deeper or larger than the screw bolts (provided) that you would use to mount the bottom base. The size of screws should be in the range from 5/16" (8 mm) to 3/8" (10 mm) in diameter. The length of screws should be in the range from 1 3/4" (45 mm) to 2 3/4" (70 mm).
IMPORTANT: If you attach the bottom base (1) with screw bolts (provided), make sure that the bolts do not exceed the height of the nuts for safety of the air hose. (fig. 3)

4. Attach the reel bracket (4) of hose reel (3) with the bottom base (1) with three spacers (6) and three nuts (7). Make sure that the nuts (7) are tight and secure. (fig. 5)
5. Attach lead hose (8) to the air inlet (9), and supply the air. (fig. 6)
IMPORTANT: Use plumber’s tape (not included) for airtight connection when attaching the lead hose to the air inlet.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS1. To extend air hose, slowly pull air hose to desired
length. The air hose must make an audible “click” when released to maintain its length. It may be necessary to pull the air hose beyond the desired length to keep it from automatically retracting.
2. To retract, slowly pull the air hose until clicking stops. Then, let the air hose automatically draw back until the bumper stops against the hose guide.
IMPORTANT: To avoid damaging the hose reel, always hold on to the air hose while it is rewinding.
IMPORTANT: If the air hose is fully extended but will not retract, you need to turn the wheel a half rotation forward, until you hear one or two clicks. The wheel will then automatically retract. (fig. 8)
