Public NoticeThe City of Elizabethtown will hold a public hearing to receive comments from citizens on the proposed projects for the 2020-21 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program year as well as the development of the 2020-2025 Consolidated Plan as related to the CDBG program. The 2020-21 CDBG funding amount is estimated at approximately $195,000. This meeting will allow for comments on the use of funding for community development and revitalization efforts through proposed activities for the upcoming year as well as those considered for the next five years. These efforts will focus on targeted benefit areas and/or persons and families of low and moderate-income. The five-year plan will include information related to: the community’s housing & homeless needs; housing market analysis; five-year strategic plan; performance measures; compliance certifications; the 2020-21 CDBG Action Plan; and the Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Report. The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 5 PM in the Plum Alley Conference Room at the Historic State Theater, 209 West Dixie Avenue, Elizabethtown, KY. The building is accessible for individuals with disabilities.
