Project Background:

• Model was developed for the City of Pasadena

• 12 intersections proposed for ATCS

• 29 signalized intersections modeled

• AM, Midday, and PM peak hours studied

• Model included Gold Rail light rail system

Why develop an emulator?

Client Requirements• Must have all the existing functions provided in

the field software

• Must be able to edit signal timing through VISSIM interface

• Must allow simulation to run faster than real-time
