Satellite Land Monitoring System
• A report on the existing national and subnational classification is available.
• National consultation has been held on Land Cover Classification The
MRV/REL Technical team has been involved to compile existing data and land
cover/use systems for comparison and advice on a harmonized legend to
report on land use and land use change.
• New land use classification has been established
• Forest definition for REDD+ was submitted by FA to MAFF and approved
• Wall-to-wall land use data for years 2006, 2010, 2014,2016 has been created

Development of the Monitoring function
Develop a rational remote sensing methodology to spatially surveillance the progress, results and impacts of REDD+ activities in the pilot areas selected under FCPF. In order to support the monitoring of SIS and PES.

Develop a methodology to monitoring land use and land used change in Protected areas, biodiversity conservation corridors and forests reserved for production considering a recent jurisdictional reform in the natural resources management

Monitoring function-development of methodology
- For Supporting on the Monitoring Function, the fix-wing e-384
drone were purchase to support the monitoring in the project
level and provincial level by detected the forest degradation and
identified of the driver of LU/LC change.
- MRV-TT, international MRV Expert and ASS Consultant
conducted the Drone monitoring by flight testing in the Pry Long
protected Area and Phnom Kulen National Park, The imagery took
by Drone were generated and processing by Pix4D software to
generated 3D image, Point cloud, Elevation Model and 2 D image.
