C hris Womack, a resident

since 2002, is the owner of

InTents Party Supply, LLC

located at 109 Laurel.

Chris purchased InTents in 2006 which

was then located in Pearland. Just

sixty days after he bought the business,

Chris decided to relocate his business

to its current location in Friendswood

occupying 8,400 square feet of space

with twenty employees. InTents

provides complete installation of tents

and accessories for weddings, sporting

events, festivals, fairs, barbecue cook

offs, and corporate events. His

services include rental of structure

tents, tables, chairs, staging, cooling,

heating, fans, generators, audio, video,

flooring, lighting, ATV/golf carts,

portable restrooms, and VIP rooms.

Chris grew up in Euless, Texas. His

dad worked in the equipment rental

industry which helped influence him to

buy his event rental company. He

moved to the Houston area in 1994, but

soon after was injured on the job at a

railroad company. He purchased his

very first home in Friendswood after

conducting extensive research on what

were the best towns to live in that had

the best core values, best school

district, and resale values. In 2016, he

married his best friend, Danielle, who

also works for the company.

Chris, with a can-

do attitude and positive

outlook, has grown his

successful business

exponentially in the last

fifteen years, currently

providing services to

customers all over the

state of Texas, Oklahoma,

Louisiana, New Mexico

and other surrounding

states.

Chris is a member of the Friendswood

Chamber of Commerce and was

awarded “Business of the Month” in

April of this year. He also is involved

with Texas EquiSearch, Friendswood

Police Department, Friendswood

Independent School District,

Friendswood Animal Shelter, and City

events including the annual July 4

Independence celebration. Chris sums

it up by saying “I wanted for me and my

family to be in the city that I live and

love, to support other local businesses,

and have the opportunity to give back to

the community.”
