ACS™ Benefits • Always in stock so you get materials on
site fast. • Product is standardized, reducing
engineering cost. • East to install and adjust, thereby
reducing the time and cost of installation.
• Ability to adapt to a wide range of rooftop environments.
Basic Installation Description: • Layout the steel column per the footprint dimensions on the provided drawings and attach to
the roof or above-roof support structure. Columns attach to the roof structure via a (4)-bolt pattern through the base plate.
• Steel angle outrigger assemblies (two assemblies provided per column system) are adjusted to the proper elevations and secured to the column via supplied through-bolts.
• Attach kicker (double angles) to steel column using the kicker column plate. The kicker column plate is attached to the steel column via a (4) square U-bolt connection.
• The kicker base plate is attached to the rooftop by the contractor. • The FRP girts are bolted in place to the outrigger assemblies to run continuously along the top
and bottom of the STEALTH panels.
STEALTH Adjustable Column System™ (ACS™ )- (Patent Pending) The new ACS™ was specifically designed to expedite the rooftop concealment process, and insure a fast and tight fit for roofs with varying elevations.

STEALTH Materials Guide
STEALTH Concealment Solutions, Inc. uses the most innovative materials and design methods to balance cost effectiveness, structural integrity, RF transparency, and cosmetic appeal. The majority of STEALTH’S designs employ three major components: • Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) • Structural Steel • StealthSkin™ V Panels
Structural Steel • Galvanized steel is frequently used for structural support of antenna screening enclosures. • Specifically used when the structural members are behind or away from the antenna’s signal. • Steel is inexpensive and easily accessible.
FRP • FRP is generally used in conjunction with steel in
the design of antenna screening enclosures. • Usually steel columns and kickers are behind the
antennas. • FRP connections must be bolted. • FRP angles or wide-flange beams act as
horizontal girts at the top and bottom of the panels, creating a mounting surface for the panel.
• FRP is less detrimental to the antenna’s signal than steel, but should not be placed in the direct path of the RF pattern.

Panel Benefits STEALTH’S panel construction uses a plastic foam composite geometry that enables the panels to: • Be very strong • Maintain RF signal integrity • Be easily fabricated These panels are available in: • Flat • Corner • Radius • Fire Rated
StealthSkin™ V Panels These panels were the first RF transparent panels ever designed and trademarked in the wireless industry. The StealthSkin™ V panels have been custom designed and tested for each particular frequency range. The RF transparency of a given panel at a particular frequency is also affected by surface treatment (stucco, brick, etc) as well as incidence angle.

StealthSkin™ V Corner and Radius Panels When corner and radius panels are needed for concealment, STEALTH’S panels are factory fabricated to the required angle or radius. For a standard corner panel, each horizontal leg of the “corner panel” is half of the overall width of the original sized panel. Standard corner panels are bent to 60 or 90 degrees per the application. In addition, panels can be factory fabricated to any required angle for any type of application.
StealthSkin™ V Corner Panel
StealthSkin™ V Radius Panel
*STEALTH corner panels were used on all four sides of this penthouse extension.
*STEALTH installed six radius boxes on the cor-ner of this Medical Cen-ter in Grossmont, CA.
5
StealthSkin™ V Panel Attachment Methods When there are aesthetic constraints for a particular site, STEALTH offers the option to employ our proprietary “FRP J Girt™” and “F-Channel™” systems.
“FRP J Girt™” The recently developed FRP J Girt™ is used at the bottom of the panels to create a track for panel installation. The drawing below shows panel attachment to the FRP J Girt™.
The FRP L Girt™ is a 6” x 4” x ½” unequal FRP angle that attaches our panels (via STEALTH’S low profile panel bolts) to the steel outriggers used on most rooftop concealments.

Office: 800-755-0689 Web: www.stealthsite.com
F-Channel™
StealthSkin™ V Panel Attachment Methods Con’t “F-Channel™” Attachment: Some applications require the total absence of visible exterior fasteners or structural members that result from through-bolting. In such cases, STEALTH employs its new proprietary F-Channel™. The F-Channel™ is generally factory bonded to the top of each panel (the attachment is only done on the bottom when absolutely necessary). This enables the horizontal return flanges of the F-Channel™ to be through-bolted to a horizontal structural member behind the panel face. This attachment method is often used when the STEALTH panel face needs to be aligned with an existing wall’s face, or when a “boltless” panel face is required for cosmetic concerns.
7
Through-Bolting (Panels 10’-0” Tall or Less): The most common and effective attachment method for STEALTH panels is through-bolting with our standard panel bolt (detailed below). • Panels must be bolted with a minimum of (3) three 3/8” panel bolts at the top and the bottom of
each 4’ wide panel, and a minimum of (4) four 3/8” panel bolts at the top and bottom of each 5’ wide panel.
• The panels are most commonly bolted directly to the vertical side of a structural member (depicted below), or less commonly bolted in the channel formed by nesting a FRP wide flange beam with a FRP angle or other shape combination.
Standard Panel Bolt
Diagram of panel bolted to vertical leg of struc-tural member
StealthSkin™ V Panel Attachment Methods Con’t All STEALTH panels have the capability of spanning up to 10 feet vertically in most loading conditions. Panels are typically attached in two ways depending on the parameters of the particular site. • The panels can be through-bolted to a structural member. • The panels can be attached via an “F-Channel” that is factory-bonded to the top and/or bottom of
each panel in instances when no visible bolt heads are permissible.
8
Office: 800-755-0689 Web: www.stealthsite.com 9
StealthSkin™ V Panel Attachment Methods Con’t Through-Bolting (Panels Taller than 10’-0”): When using a panel with a vertical height greater than 10 feet, the panel must be supported by an additional horizontal mid-span member. *Please note that additional supports are non-metallic in RF critical areas and should be positioned outside of the antenna’s beam-width area for optimum RF performance.
10
The standard vertical interface between panels uses a “spline & groove” connection. A foam spline is inserted into the grooves that are cut in the side edges of each panel. The thickness of the spline is dictated by the panel thickness. The standard StealthSkin™ V panel uses a 1” thick by 2” wide spline (thinner panels use smaller splines). This standard connection is detailed to the right.
“Spline and Groove” Connection (Vertical Panel Seam)
Edge Caps All exterior foam surfaces of STEALTH panels must be covered to avoid UV deterioration over time and to minimize water penetration between the panels. Edges are either factory sealed with a plastic strip or covered with an extruded edge cap, which is supplied with each order. The detail to the left shows a section view of the StealthSkin™ V panel edge cap. The panel edge cap must be attached to the panel via tec screws or substitute. The panel edge cap prevents water penetration in to the vertical seams between panels which can compromise RF performance.
