Sergio Alapont
Born in Spain, Sergio Alapont is noted for his passionate and
inspirational conducting and is as experienced on the
symphonic stage as in the opera pit. A former winner of the
Granada Conducting Competition, in 2016 he was named Best
Conductor at the annual awards of the web magazine
GBOPERA. His repertoire ranges from early music to modern,
with a particular feeling for the Italian opera repertoire.
Conrad van Alphen
Conrad van Alphen is known as much for his entrepreneurial
spirit and depth of preparation as he his is for performances that
combine exceptional sensitivity, vision and freshness. His clear,
efficient yet kind and communicative rehearsal and
performance style have made him popular with orchestras and
audiences alike. At the turn of the millennium Conrad founded
Sinfonia Rotterdam, of which he remains Chief Conductor and
Artistic Director.
Noam Aviel
Noam Aviel has emerged as a dynamic conductor on the
international scene. Hailed for her artistic excellence, versatility,
and charismatic stage presence, Noam Aviel has been
recognized for her deep understanding of stylistic approaches in
a wide range of repertoire including opera, symphonic, and jazz
with a rare sensitivity to the needs of the artists with whom she
collaborates. Her upcoming engagements also include a
symphonic debut in Sweden with the Norrköping Symphony
Orchestra and an operatic debut with Opera Orlando in the US
conducting performances of a contemporary work Lizbeth by
Thomas Albert.
Anja Bihlmaier
Anja Bihlmaier’s strong musical instinct, abundant charisma
and natural leadership have propelled her to the forefront of
recently established conductors both on the symphonic and
operatic stages. In August she assumes the role of Chief
Conductor of the Residentie Orkest in The Hague alongside her
position as Principal Guest Conductor of the Lahti Symphony
Orchestra.
David Björkman
David Björkman is one of the latest in a distinguished line of
Nordic musicians to move from the concertmaster’s chair to the
conductor’s podium. He was a prizewinner at the 2008
Prokofiev International Conducting Competition in St
Petersburg and has been a recipient of the Swedish Conductors
Award. In the 2022/23 Season David returns to the Royal
Swedish Opera, Piteå Chamber Opera and Norrbotten NEO and
conducts the Scandinavian première of Missy Mazzoli’s opera
Breaking the Waves at the Vadstena Academy.
Nathan Brock
Canadian conductor Nathan Brock trained in Europe and has
worked at some of the continent’s most distinguished opera
houses and orchestras. It was in Canada that he started his
career, when he was appointed Resident Conductor of the
Montreal Symphony Orchestra in 2009 by Music Director Kent
Nagano.
Fredrik Burstedt
Following extensive experience as a concertmaster and violin
soloist, Fredrik Burstedt is in increasing demand to lead
orchestras and opera productions as a conductor. Fredrik has
worked with all the professional orchestras in Sweden and
many more across the Nordic region, including the Trondheim
Symphony Orchestra, Norwegian Radio Orchestra, Kristiansand
Symphony Orchestra, Odense Symphony Orchestra and
Aalborg Symphony Orchestra in addition to the Staatskapelle
Weimar, Nürnberg Sinfoniker and I Pomeriggi musicali.
Gudrun Dahlkvist
A breath of fresh air on the conducting scene, Gudrun Dahlkvist
studied in Stockholm and Paris and has over a decade of high-
level professional experience on the Swedish and French music
scenes. Still under 30, she is an orchestral leader to watch. She
has conducted the Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra and
Norrköping Symphony Orchestra in professional engagements
(both of which she will return to) and the Swedish Radio
Symphony Orchestra and Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra in
masterclasses. Her rapidly spreading reputation has led to
recent bookings from the Swedish Chamber Orchestra, Nordic
Chamber Orchestra, Gävle Symphony Orchestra and Östgöta
Wind Orchestra.
David Danzmayr
Danzmayr is Chief Conductor of the Zagreb Philharmonic
Orchestra and Music Director of the ProMusica Chamber
Orchestra, as well as the Artistic Advisor of the Breckenridge
Music Festival. Previously, David Danzmayr served as Music
Director of the Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra in Chicago. David
has won prizes at some of the world's most prestigious
conducting competitions, including a 2nd prize at the
International Gustav Mahler Conducting Competition and prizes
at the International Malko Conducting Competition.
Andreas Delfs
A native of Flensburg, Germany, and graduate of the Hamburg
Conservatory and Juilliard School of Music, Andreas Delfs has
established himself as a pre-eminent force in the classical music
world and one of the finest conductors of his generation. He has
held chief artistic posts with orchestras in Europe and North
America. At the age of 20, he became the youngest-ever Music
Director of the Hamburg University Orchestra and Musical
Assistant at the Hamburg State Opera. Throughout his 12
seasons as Musical Director of the Milwaukee Symphony
Orchestra, Delfs drew larger audiences to Uihlein Hall, selling
out a record 40 concerts there during the 2000-2001 Season.
Marzena Diakun
From September 2021, Marzena Diakun is Artistic Director and
Chief Conductor of the Orquestra de la Comunidad de Madrid
(ORCAM) and Chief Conductor of the Orchestre Symphonique
de l’Opéra de Toulon. Recent engagements have taken Marzena
to the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, the Royal Liverpool
Philharmonic Orchestra, the Prague Radio Symphony
Orchestra, the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra
Katowice, the Warsaw Philharmonic and many others.
Marzena is a dedicated exponent of contemporary music and
has given the first performances of numerous works.
Jurek Dybał
Jurek Dybał is General Director and Chief Conductor of
Sinfonietta Cracovia in the city of Kraków and a member of the
string section of the Vienna Philharmonic. He has appeared
with ensembles including the Beethoven Orchester Bonn,
Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre Philharmonique
de Monte Carlo, L'Orchestra del Teatro Carlo Felice di Genova,
Vienna Chamber Orchestra, Concerto Köln, Bavarian Chamber
Orchestra, Kuopio Symphony Orchestra, Czech National
Symphony Orchestra, Brno Philharmonic Orchestra, Polish
National Radio Symphony Orchestra Katowice, Polish Radio
Orchestra and the Philharmonic Orchestras in Poznań, Kraków,

Emil Eliasson
Swedish conductor Emil Eliasson is in the midst of a
breakthrough that has seen him work with some of the most
respected musicians of our time and conduct major ensembles
throughout the Nordic region. Emil enjoys ongoing relationships
with the Royal Swedish Opera, the Royal Stockholm
Philharmonic Orchestra, the Norrköping, Helsingborg and Gävle
Symphony Orchestras, the Nordic Chamber Orchestra,
Dalasinfoniettan, the orchestras of Norrlandsoperan and
Wermlandsoperan and the Royal Swedish Navy Band.
Christoph Eschenbach
In his earlier days Christoph Eschenbach, then a pianist, was in
high demand worldwide by famous concert halls and orchestras.
Here he met George Szell who invited him to tour with the
Cleveland orchestra. In the same period Eschenbach developed
a great artistic collaboration with Herbert von Karajan as well.
Successful conducting studies passed in Hamburg and the
influence of Szell and Karajan, the two mentors, naturally led
him to initiate his carrier as a conductor, and he debuted in the
USA in 1975 with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra.
Today, Eschenbach is in demand as a distinguished guest
conductor with the finest orchestras and opera houses
throughout the world, as well as prestigious festivals. His grand
classic repertoire is ranging from J.S. Bach to music of our time
and reflect his commitment to not just canonical works but also
to the music of the late 20th and early 21st century.
Roberto Forés-Veses
Valencia-born conductor Roberto Forés Veses conducts at
many of the world’s leading orchestras and opera houses. And
the forthcoming months will see debuts and returns with,
among others, the English Chamber Orchestra (at London's
Cadogan Hall), Russian State Symphony orchestra « Evgeny
Svetlanov”, Orchestra Sinfonica e Coro Sinfonico di Milano
Giuseppe Verdi ('La Verdi'), Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Sinfonietta
Lausanne, Orchestra National de Pays de la Loire (ONPL);
Orchestre National Bordeaux-Aquitaine, Orquesta de Valencia;
Filharmonia de Galicia. He will lead a national tour of the Israel
Camerata, will tour the Orchestre National d’Auvergne to Monte-
Carlo, and will lead a co-production of Bellini’s La Sonnambula at
four French opera houses.
Simon Gaudenz
Simon Gaudenz is Music Director Designate of Jena
Philharmonic Orchestra. During recent years he has made a
name for himself particularly as an interpreter of the classical
repertoire. A fresh, new approach against the background of
historically informed performance practice characterizes his
concerts and recordings. In keeping with this philosophy, he is
currently forming and shaping the musical profile of the
Hamburg Camerata and was celebrating the 30 years
anniversary season of this chamber orchestra looking back on a
rich performance tradition.
Sascha Goetzel
Sascha Goetzel was trained in Vienna. He is currently Music
Director Laureate of the Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic
Orchestra, Principal Guest Conductor of the Sofia Philharmonic
Orchestra and Artistic Director of the Orchestra for Peace (El-
Sistema Turkey). Sascha began the 2020/21 Season
conducting a Beethoven cycle with the Orchestra del Teatro
Petruzzelli, also making his debut at the Grafenegg Festival with
the Vienna Tonkünstler Orchestra. In the same season he made
his debut with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte Carlo
with immediate invitations to return, recorded for Warner
Classics and continued his work with orchestras in Sofia and
Istanbul in live concerts, radio broadcasts and web streaming.
Johannes Gustavsson
Johannes Gustavsson is noted for his energy, charisma, poise
and sensitivity – qualities that have put him in serious demand
as a symphonic and operatic conductor across the Nordic region
and beyond. He works regularly with all the major orchestras in
his native Sweden including the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic,
Swedish Radio Symphony and Gothenburg Symphony
Orchestras. In Norway he enjoys relationships with the Oslo
Philharmonic and Kristiansand Symphony Orchestras and
KORK, the Norwegian Radio Orchestra. Johannes has recently
conducted the Helsinki and Turku Philharmonic Orchestras in
Finland and is soon to appear with the Odense and South
Jutland Symphony Orchestras in Denmark.
Jukka Iisakkila
Finnish conductor Jukka Iisakkila’s versatility and skill have
taken him to symphony orchestras, chamber orchestras,
contemporary ensembles, rock arenas and innovative music
clubs throughout Europe and beyond. He is Founder and Artistic
Director of the Sääksmäki Soi! Music Festival in Finland. A
regular guest with all the Finnish orchestras and many of the
leading ensembles in Scandinavia, Jukka was Chief Conductor
and Artistic Director of Pori Sinfonietta from 2004 to 2012. He
works regularly with the Turku Philharmonic, Oulu Symphony
and Tapiola Sinfonietta in Finland and with the Stavanger
Symphony Orchestra in Norway. He has enjoyed close
associations with the Danish Radio Sinfonietta and the Nagoya
Philharmonic in Japan. Jukka conducts the Metropole Orchestra
in Holland in contemporary crossover projects and is Professor
of Conducting at the Stavanger University in Norway.
Alexander Joel
Alexander Joel is renowned for the integrity of his approach to a
varied range of operatic and symphonic repertoire. He draws
uncommon depth of sound and colour from orchestras and
inspires them to achieve freedom within the context of the
particular musical architectural. His abilities have led to regular
guest appearances with distinguished ensembles around
Europe, including the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
Per Otto Johansson
Per Otto Johansson is one of the busiest conductors in the
Nordic region and is increasingly in demand on the European
mainland. His concentrated performances have drawn press
acclaim and audience delight, from the Royal Opera in
Copenhagen to the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. From the
2022/23 Season, he begins his tenure as
Generalmusikdirektor at Landestheater Detmold, where his first
season will include new productions of Madama Butterfly, Lady
Macbeth of Mtsensk and Don Giovanni, five orchestral concerts
and a tours to Bregenz, Bern and Zurich.
Risto Joost
The young Estonian conductor Risto Joost excels by his
specialized versatility and has gained widespread recognition
for his work both in the opera pit and on concert stage. The
trained singer and Conductor in Residence of the Estonian
National Operahas already held major artistic positions, such as
Chief Conductor of the Tallinn Chamber Orchestraand Artistic
Director of the MDR Leipzig Radio Choir from 2015 to 2019.
Garrett Keast
With distinct performances leading over sixty symphony
orchestras and more than twenty opera companies across four
continents, the conductor’s experience on the podium
showcases extraordinary range. His symphonic repertoire
extends from Haydn and Brahms to Adams, Britten and
Widmann. In the opera house, Keast has led masterworks of
American composers such as Bernsteinand Glass to
contemporary and iconic pieces by Unsuk Chin, Puccini, R.
Strauss and Wagner. Keast launched his career in New York
City, quickly followed by international demand for his presence
as a guest conductor. He regularly appears at venues including
the Opéra National de Paris, Gewandhaus in Leipzig, Munich’s
Gasteig, the Staatsoper Hamburg, and Germany's largest
concert house, Festspielhaus Baden-Baden. Described as
drawing out “refined and concentrated playing” with “assured
sensitivity” (Financial Times), Keast has conducted successful
performances with orchestras such as the Tonkünstler
Orchester Vienna, MDR Sinfonieorchester Leipzig, Rundfunk-
Sinfonieorchester Berlin, Belgian National Orchestra, as well as
conducting performances at Hamburg’s renowned
Elbphilharmonie for its inaugural season.
Christopher Lichtenstein
Christopher Lichtenstein has been Music Director of the Danish
National Opera since September 2020 and first conducted the
company in the much-discussed Scandinavian premiere of
Weinberg’s The Passenger in 2018. Since taking up his
position he has led performances of Verdi’s Rigoletto and the
world premiere of Karsten Fundal’s Inkognito Royal. In the
2021/22 season, he conducts the company in new productions
of Verdi’s Aida and Léhar’s The Count of Luxembourg.
Christopher has been a regular guest conductor with
Staatstheater Kassel, Theater Wolfsburg and the Regensburg
Philharmonic.
Mateusz Moleda
Since his debut at the age of 19, Mateusz Molęda has proved
himself a conductor of rare maturity, rigour and discernment. He
has a distinct and proven ability to find new perspectives and
deep interpretative insights in a wide range of repertoire and
musical styles. Recent seasons have taken Mateusz to debuts
with the London Mozart Players and the Aalborg and Aarhus
Symphony Orchestras in Denmark, where he has also
consolidated his relationship with the Odense Symphony
Orchestra. In Denmark, he conducted the world premiere of the
Concerto for Hammond Organ by Anders Koppel, the first
concertante work for the instrument. He has worked with the
Deutsches Kammerorchester Berlin, Nuremberg Symphony
Orchestra, Jena Philharmonic Orchestra, Heidelberg
Philharmonic Orchestra, Folkwang Kammerorchester Essen
and Staatskapelle Schwerin.
Daniela Musca
Acclaimed for the individuality and passion of her
interpretations, her tireless dedication to sound and her
attention to detail, Italian conductor Daniela Musca is sought
after as both a symphonic and operatic conductor. Daniela has
worked with orchestras including the Gothenburg Symphony
Orchestra, Frankfurt Opera and Museum Orchestra, Norrköping
Symphony Orchestra, Trondheim Symphony Orchestra, Casco
Phil, Würzburg Philharmonic Orchestra and Oulu Sinfonia,
among others. From the 2018 Season she was associated with
the Hessisches Staatstheater Wisebaden where she conducted
new productions of L’elisir d’amore, The Count of Luxembourg
and Eugene Onegin in addition to revivals of repertory works.
Rafael Payare
Since winning the Malko Competition in 2012, Payare has
quickly developed into one of the most sought after young
conductors, with recent debuts with the Vienna Philharmonic,
Munich Philharmonic, London Symphony and the Chicago
Symphony at the Ravinia Festival. Other highlights includes the
City of Birmingham Symphony, Rotterdam Philharmonic, Seoul
Philharmonic, Oslo Philharmonic, Gothenburg Symphony and
the Los Angeles and Royal Stockholm Philharmonic orchestras.
2014-15 also saw his acclaimed opera debut conducting
Madame Butterfly at the Royal Swedish Opera in Stockholm.
Andris Poga
Andris Poga is the Chief Conductor of the Stavanger Symphony
Orchestra since 2021/22 season. He was the Music Director of
the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra (LNSO) from 2013
till 2021. The season of 2021/22 includes the regular
subscription series with both the SSO and LNSO. Andris returns
to the Oslo Philharmonic, WDR Symphony Cologne, Deutsches
Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, RAI Torino, Aarhus Symphony,
Monte-Carlo Philharmonic as well as debuts with the
Gulbenkian Orchestra in Lisbon, Deutsche
Kammerphilharmonie Bremen and Bergen Philharmonic.
Patrik Ringborg
Patrik Ringborg is one of Sweden's most prolific conductors with
well over 80 conducted operas and vast concert repertory. He
was Music Director in Freiburg until 2006. Subsequently, he
was appointed General Music Director at the State Theatre in
Kassel 2007 and remained in this position for a decade. He
worked at the Staatsoper Dresden, the Volksoper in Vienna, the
Deutsches Nationaltheater in Weimar, by the Deutsche Oper
Berlin and by the Norwegian National Opera and many others.
Tobias Ringborg
Tobias Ringborg has appeared with all Swedish and several
Scandinavian orchestras, often both as soloist and conductor.
As an operatic conductor he made his debut in 2001 at the
Stockholm Folkoperan and has since then been closely
associated with the Royal Swedish Opera. He has also led
productions at Malmö Opera, the Norwegian Opera, the Danish
National Opera and Oper Leipzig. In 2005 he made his London
debut, with the English Chamber Orchestra at the Barbican. In
2021/22 Ringborg will conduct Offenbach’s Orphée aux enfers
in Oslo, Don Giovanni at Welsh National Opera and Così fan
tutte at Garsington Opera. In 2010 he was awarded the Herbert
Blomstedt Prize from the Royal Swedish Academy of Music, of
which he since 2011 is a member.
Marie Rosenmir
Marie Rosenmir’s route to conducting via an impressive career
as a professional organist, pianist and singer has made her an
operatic and orchestral leader of rare sensitivity and versatility.
She has been praised for her charisma, diligence, vibrancy and
character and for the space, breadth and detail with which her
performances unfold. Marie began her conducting career on the
music staff of the Gothenburg Opera, where she conducted
Puccini’s Manon Lescaut, and went on to lead opera productions
at Folkoperan in Stockholm. In 2017 she made her conducting
debut at the Royal Swedish Opera with Mozart’s Die
Zauberflöte. During the 2018/19 Season she was invited back
to the Gothenburg Opera and in 2021 she returned to
Folkoperan, Stockholm, to lead a new production. As a
symphonic conductor Marie works regularly with all the major
Swedish orchestras.
Ola Rudner
Swedish conductor Ola Rudner started his career as a violinist,
as a prizewinner at the Paganini Competition, becoming
concertmaster of the Camerata Salzburg, Vienna Volksoper and
Vienna Symphony Orchestra. He moved to conducting as an
assistant to the legendary Sandor Vègh. In 1995, Ola founded
Philharmonia Wien. He has served as Chief Conductor of the
Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano
and Württembergische Philharmonie in Reutlingen –
transforming the latter into one of the finest regional ensembles
in Germany and taking it on extensive tours throughout Europe
and the world. He has conducted all the major Australian
orchestras including the Sydney and Melbourne Symphony
Orchestras and the orchestras of Queensland, Adelaide and
Perth. He has been a guest of most of the major orchestras in
the Nordic region.
Elena Schwarz
Swiss-Australian conductor, Elena Schwarz (b. 1985) is forging
a reputation across different continents; her appointment in the
newly created role of Associate Conductor to the Tasmanian
Symphony Orchestra alongside a Dudamel Fellowship with the
Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra and guest conducting
engagements in Germany, Scandinavia, Belgium, Switzerland,
France, the UK and the USA have laid the foundations for a
promising international career.
Anna Skryleva
Anna Skryleva has worked in some of Germany’s most
distinguished opera houses and in the 2019/20 Season took up
the position of General Music Director at Theater Magdeburg.
As a guest conductor, Anna has appeared at houses including
the Dallas Opera and the Hessian State Theater, Wiesbaden. In
the 2019/20 Season she made her debut at The Royal
Swedish Opera with Mozart's The Magic Flute. On the concert
stage, Anna has worked with the Frankfurt Radio Symphony
Orchestra, the Aarhus Symphony Orchestra, Copenhagen Phil,
South German Philharmonic Konstanz, North German
Philharmonic Rostock and Orquesta Filarmónica de la UNAM in
Mexico City. She recently made her debut with the Deutsches
Sinfonie Orchester Berlin.
Marc Soustrot
Marc Soustrot is known as an inspiring orchestra leader, an
exacting opera conductor and a recording artist of distinction.
He has worked with some of the most renowned musicians and
ensembles in Europe and beyond since his debut over four
decades ago. Marc is currently Chief Conductor of the Aarhus
Symphony Orchestra in Denmark’s second city, and in 2019
completed a noteworthy tenure as Chief Conductor of the
Malmö Symphony Orchestra in Sweden. From 2021 he took up
his tenure as Chief Conductor and Artistic Director of the Real
Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla (ROSS).
Andreas Stoehr
Andreas Stoehr is an extremely versatile conductor from and
has held major posts at Opera Graz, Theatre St Gallen, the
Prague State Opera and the Opéra Comique in Paris. He has
enjoyed a long relationship with the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in
Düsseldorf where he introduced historically informed playing
techniques and original instruments to the resident Düsseldorf
Symphony Orchestra, and where he took charge of a critically
acclaimed cycle of the Monteverdi operas before moving on to
Scarlatti, Handel and Mozart.
Peter Szilvay
Peter Szilvay is a conductor of energy and charisma and a
notable interpreter of new music. He has conducted the St
Petersburg Philharmonic, the Orchestre Philharmonique de
Radio France and the Royal Danish Orchestra. In Norway, Peter
has worked with the KORK, the Norwegian Chamber Orchestra,
the Arctic and Bergen Philharmonic Orchestras, the Trondheim
and Kristiansand Symphony Orchestras, the Oslo Philharmonic
and the Stavanger Symphony Orchestras. He has also
conducted the Oslo, Trondheim, Bødo and Arctic Sinfoniettas.
Peter is furthermore an experienced opera conductor.
Gabriella Teychenné
Gabriella Teychenné has been praised for her ‘terrific
intelligence, clarity and musicality’ and for her ‘radical passion’
for music and the arts. In the 2022-23 Seasons, she debuts at
the Royal Danish Opera and the Norrkoping Symphony
Orchestra while joining the music staff of the Bavarian State
Opera as assistant conductor to Vladimir Jurowski. Gabriella
has conducted the Philharmonia, London Philharmonic, Oulu
Symphony, BBC Symphony and Kuopio Symphony Orchestras
as well as Het Residentie Orkest, L’Orchestre de Chambre de
Genève, Orchestre de Picardie, L’Orchestre Philharmonique de
Radio France, Ensemble Contrechamps, Covent Garden Sinfonia
and the Birmingham Contemporary Music Group. As assistant
conductor at the London Philharmonic Orchestra she worked
closely with music directors Vladimir Jurowski and Edward
Gardner.
Wolfgang Wengenroth
Wolfgang Wengenroth has held positions as Kapellmeister at
the theaters in Hildesheim-Hannover, Wiesbaden and most
recently Mannheim (2016-2019). He is a frequent and
welcome guest on international stages. Engagements lead him
regularly to the major opera houses in Scandinavia, Japan and
South America: After successful debuts, he received re-
invitations to Copenhagen (Magic Flute) Stockholm (Madama
Butterfly), Malmö (La Traviata) and Gothenburg (Swan Lake). In
the season 2019/2020 he again conducts at the opera houses
in Stockholm and Gothenburg and at the Teatro Colon Buenos
Aires.
Cathrine Winnes
Cathrine Winnes’s reputation extends beyond the conductor’s
podium – where she works with many of the major Nordic
orchestras and theatres – to the wider world of the media and
the campaign for a more inclusive repertoire. She has worked
with the most distinguished orchestras in Scandinavia and
appeared in her own television series as both conductor and
presenter. Since 2015 Cathrine has been Chief Conductor and
Artistic Leader of the Swedish Wind Ensemble, a contract that
was recently extended to 2023.
Lena-Lisa Wüstendörfer
Lena-Lisa Wüstendörfer is Music Director of the Swiss
Orchestra, Artistic Director of the Bern Bach Choir and from
2022, Artistic Director of Andermatt Music at the new
Andermatt Concert Hall. She is fast building a reputation as a
conductor of meticulous technique, contagious passion and rare
intellectual insight.
Christian Øland
Christian Øland is one of the Nordic region’s most promising
young conducting talents. In the season 2021/22, Christian
Øland will, among others, return to conduct Magdeburg
Philharmoniker, South Denmark Philharmonic, The Nordic
Chamber Orchestra, and the Copenhagen Phil for several
concerts and he will have his debut with Wermland Opera
Orchestra.
