• Date is set• Timeline developed with title/theme • Budget Management • Publicity – write the PR announcement, create flyer• Catering• Review mailing/invitation lists• Mail invitations/ collect RSVP’s• Contact piano tuner, photographer, moving and
hauling, housekeeping, parking, public safety• Contact collaborators and keep in contact• Verify all of the above has gone out and proof along
the way• Prepare welcome remarks• Ease any anxiety, resolve any issues• Day of event: reserved signs, set guest book, room
setup, wastebaskets, resolve catering issues, set ambient music, do a headcount of guests, check leftovers of catering items
• Day after event: copies of program kept for archives and PR Assistant, confirm budget
