Development & Peace "Sow Much Love" Fall Campaign Seeds are the heritage of family farmers and peasants who preserve them to feed their families, their communities, and the world. However, seeds are increasingly being controlled and privatized by multinational companies. Without access to seeds, the way of life of small family farmers and peasants, most of whom live in the Global South, is threatened. By supporting small family farmers in their struggle to maintain the world’s seed biodiversity, we will ensure that they can continue to feed their families, and play a major role in fighting global hunger. (For more information D&P literature available at entrances or http://www.devp.org/en/education/fall2014/materials) Please join the Catholic Young Adults - Fredericton on November 13 at 7pm in the Monsignor Boyd Family Centre Lounge for a discussion on Fides et Ratio, St. John Paul II's encyclical on the relationship between faith and reason. Do You Know of Someone Housebound That
Requires Communion? The Pastoral Visitation
Committee needs to know of any St. Dunstan’s
parishioner who is unable to attend Mass that
requires Communion. Brochures are available that
can be used to provide information about these
persons at the Church entrances and in the Centre.
Please leave a request using the brochure at the
office. It is not possible for the Committee to
respond to housebound persons if we do not know
about them. It is important to get permission from
the person before making contact with us. We want
to avoid possible awkward situations which may
arise when people don’t know their names have been
forwarded and the Committee contacts them. The
Chair of the Committee can also be contacted
directly (Tim Dilworth, 458-5571,

The Spiritual & Religious Care Educational Foundation is a local multi-faith Foundation. It's main purpose is to provide bursaries for students taking the Clinical Pastoral Education Program at the Chalmer's Hospital. The students visit with patients so as to provide spiritual & religious care in a time of need. The students are not paid, but provide a tremendously valuable visiting ministry for patients and the Hospital in terms of volunteer hours. The Foundation meets briefly only twice a year, but is currently in need of further Board members. You do not need any particular skills...only an interest. Might you consider to become a Board member? Please contact Chris McAloon at 474-2342 or [email protected]. Thank you.
Reminder to keep our church “SCENT FREE” as some people are sensitive and have allergies. Thank you
