Creating and sharing a Gmail calendar using your mynorquest email account

Step 1
Open your mynorquest email account, and click on Calendar
You may receive a warning message if you are using a browser other than Google Chrome. Just click “Cancel”
Step 2
Click on the drop-down arrow beside “My calendars” and choose “Create new calendar”.
Step 3
Name your calendar (please use your name somewhere in the name of your calendar).
Share your calendar with me: [email protected]
Click on “create calendar.”
Step 4Finished! Now you are ready to add all your volunteer hours to your calendar. Please use your calendar for scheduled as well as completed hours.
To enter an event on your calendars:1. Click on the date for that event.
A dialogue box will open.
2. Choose "edit event”.
3. Click on “All day” to deselect this choice.
Because you are all sharing your calendars with me (and all your calendar entries show up in my calendar), please enter your data like this:
Your first name, the start and end time, and a short description
Bonnie, 10:30 am – 12:30 pm, interview, CapitalCare Norwood
Bonnie, 9:00 am – 2:00 pm, volunteering, Reuse Centre

You can set your calendar so that you will get an email reminder of upcoming events.
Be sure and enter details of your event, including the start and finish times in the boxes:
