Foundation for CSR @ Redington
REDINGTON CSR – CONNECT
February 2019
CSR TEAM
From Trustee’s DeskElection 2019, coming with its pressure starting from the student
community. Semester exams which normally happens in May
month, may be advanced to start in March itself this year. In a
month’s period, the final year students in the colleges will be ready
for corporate.
Seeking and getting the suitable job comes with its own challenges. Technology has almost
replaced all entry level jobs. Someone rightly said that advanced technology such as Robotics
which is a hot subject in colleges to learn will replace soon the accounts and administration
jobs. Redington Foundation is constantly upgrading its training module in its Elite Smart
Learning Centres to cater to these changing needs. Online training for the Commerce and
Computer Science graduates will give edge over other students during your interview period.
Students! Finding a suitable job is not only your success but also the outcome of our training.
During our meetings, I repeatedly shared our Foundation’s moto of Change to Celebrate.
Your parents who sacrificed their last 16 + years and waiting for your turn to give back to the
family, have lot of hopes on your success in exams. Some of yours job would change the life
style of your family soon.
Degree from the College is only a certificate or boarding pass for your employment. You must
look for the right job which is passionate for you. What are jobs available for a B.A. Economic
or B.A. English or B.Sc physics is a big question comparing to the students of Commerce or
Computer Science. Whatever the degree may be it is a degree that’s all. You need to bet on
your passion for the job. Don’t look at a suitable job based on your degree.
Career and job are different. In the initial period, you grab the opportunity for building your
career. Career path also has its own bends and turns. Plan your career. While starting your
career, choose the company which gives you more experimental learning and empower you to
become an expert. Don’t look at your pay pocket. Set your goal to have a peaceful progress
rather than stressful success.
Wish you all the very best for your exams! Strive hard and believe that the success is near to
you.
Lovingly,
M. Muthukumarasamy

All children are born artists, the problem is to remain an artist as we grow up”
Drawing classes are recently started in Annai Hr. Sec. School and Uma
Maheshwara Hr. Sec. School in Thanjavur Zone. 30 Students participated in the
preliminary competition from each school and after the evaluation, 15 students
were selected for Redington Art Club. At the first session of the club the
students were given freedom to draw according to their creativity. This method
helped us to know the students creativity level and involvement.
Drawing from imagination is very important at this age and teaching them a few
art concepts that can be applied to their drawings will support their creativity
and imagination.
As kids manipulate a paintbrush, their fine motor skills improve. By counting
pieces and colours, they learn the basics of math. When children experiment
with materials, they dabble in science. The most important fact is, when
children feel good while they are creating art, it helps them in boosting self-
confidence.
