Fastback and Convertible on the roads till later in 2015, the price for it has
been announced.
So, how much would it cost on your pocket?
The new Ford Mustang will be available at a figure must below $50K and the
buyer will get to choose from 2 engine options. The 6-speed manual Fastback
will cost around $44,990 and will come with a turbocharged 2.3-litre 4-cylinder
Ecoboost engine. The 6-speed auto Fastback will be sold at $47,490 while an
individual would have to pay $53,990 for the auto Convertible.
With 432Nm of torque and 233kW of power, the list for the standard
equipments is endless. They include 8.0 inch SYNC2 media touch screen with
satellite navigation, dual-zone climate control, push-button start with smart
key, leather trim, fronts seats heated and cooled, auto wipers and lights, 19-
inch alloys and an electric driver’s seat adjustment to begin with.
The 5.0 litre V8-powered variants can be purchased at $54,990 for the manual
Flashback, the Convertible version will come at $63,990 while the auto hard-
top comes at $57,490. The engine offers 303kW of power and 525Nm of power
along with ‘Ebony Black’ 19-inch alloys. The Brembo callipers also offer bigger
brakes.
Ford Australia’s Vice President of sales, marketing and service, Graeme
Whickman said that the car is so priced that it can be easily attained for many
buyers. He also stated that at such a price Ford wishes to introduce a new
performance car which is made especially for enthusiasts who know the worth
of technology, style, performance and the history associated with the name
Mustang!
He further revealed that this car is unique because it keeps in mine the
generations-old heritage of Ford customers while also being a technologically-
advanced car. Around 1200 cars have already been ordered wit around 15,000
intending buyers having been identified.
Customers will get to choose from ‘over the top racing stripes’ for an
additional $650, hardtop black painted roof at $975 and prestige paint at $500.
The 19-inch ‘lustre nickel’ finish wheels are available only on the V8 models at
$500.
