World Challenge 2019 Sub-team parents evening tonight
If you indicated that you are available to help with teas and coffees on parents night Tuesday 28th please can
you come to a very short meeting in room 4210 at the start of lunch break today. Thank you

Can all members of the team please attend a meeting in room 4210 at lunchtime 12.55pm on Thursday 30th
November.
I can also give you advanced notice of our launch planning meeting after school on Thursday 9th December
from 3pm until 4.30pm. It is essential that all team members attend. Can you let me know at the lunchtime
meeting on 30th November if you know that you have prior commitments that may prevent you from attending
this launch meeting.

S1 Madrid Trip
ALL pupils going to Madrid need to attend a short meeting in room 3601 (Mr Snee’s Room) at Break time on
Wednesday 29th November. The meeting is about Flight Information.
Dundee and Angus College Future Talent Workshops.
Dundee and Angus College tutors will be coming in today to help pupils considering applying this session.
Today, Tuesday 28th November, they will be looking at completing the application form and writing personal
statements. On Thursday 30th November, they will be offering help with interview techniques (this is not a
mock interview – just a discussion with the class!)
All pupils should attend room 3304 at 12.00pm, during period 4. (Finish at lunchtime).

Reminder - Pupil Council Meeting: Wednesday November 29th PERIOD 2.
A Pupil Council Meeting will take place this Wednesday (29/11/17) during period 2 in Science Room 2 (4205).
This meeting has been called to consider changes to the House Structure. Mr Millar hopes to attend.
It is important that as many Pupil Council members attend as possible. All councillors should email me by the
end of period 7 on Tuesday 28th stating whether they will be attending or not.

S1-S3 The S6 social committee are organising a Christmas disco for pupils in S1-S3 on Thursday 7th December The disco will be held in the school and will run from 6pm until 8:30pm. Tickets will cost £3 and will be on sale outside the library during lunchtime next week. Spaces are limited to 200 pupils first come serve basis.

Further to concerns voiced during recent Pupil Council meetings and subsequent discussion with the Senior
Leadership Team please note:
When moving between classes and/or social areas pupils, whenever possible, should always keep to the left.
This is important as it reduces congestion.
This includes keeping to the left at the atrium stairs.
Appointments with Lisa and Lorraine, Career Advisors, for S4/5/6 Parent Contact Evening
To all S4,5,6 Pupils who wish to make appointments to see Lisa and Lorraine on the Parent Contact Evenings
on the 28th November and 11th December, they will be available between 3.40 and 4.10pm for slots. They are
both involved in delivering workshops for parents for the rest of the evening. If this time does not suit, please
see Lisa or Lorraine to discuss an alternative.

The part time work offered by Hilton Doubletree will now be largely
evening work. Consequently, according to employment law, applicants
must be 17.
Hilton have sent their apologies to all pupils aged 16 who
have applied as sadly they will not be able to offer them
employment on this occasion.
