Fats: Choose quality over quantityFat is one of the three macronutrients, along with protein and carbohydrates, that our bodies need every day. Fat provides energy, lubricates joints, insulates organs, and assists in the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins. Fats from whole foods are best.
Include the right type of fat in your diet by choosing: • Olive or avocado oil like extra virgin and unrefined
in a dark bottle• Coconut oil• Avocados• Nuts or seeds • Nut butters • Dairy products including milk, cheese and yogurt
