Sustainability
• Our people are our most valuable asset.• We promote and encourage a consistent
and coordinated approach to upgrade their skills and capabilities to deliver high quality performance fabrics and finishes.
• We pursue strategic long-term relationships with our employees, customers and suppliers.
• Internal controls and policies in place to guarantee full compliance with labor, safety, health, environment and business ethics.
Reducing Carbon Footprint…
• Recycling Program: cardboard, paper, wood, plastic separators, bags and bins, yarn and fabric waste is collected and then collected by a recycling company. All trash is separated in bins placed all over the plant, which is then collected by American Industrial Park.
• Emissions: Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) in place to filter industrial emissions using minimum energy consumption.
• Effluents: pass through Darlington’s effluent trench where PH gets neutralized and then conducted to the water treatment plant managed by American Industrial Park.
• Industrial lubricants and oils are properly filtered and used as fuel for the steam boiler.
Reducing Carbon Footprint (…CONT.)
• Installation of variable frequency drives.
• Motion Sensors installed to reduce energy consumption.
• Water consumption: recycling of boiling water used in different processes.
• Replaced motors in knitting machines with high efficiency motors.
• Capacitor banks.
