This 501c3 not-for-profit group operates as part of the Arts and Recreation Foundation of Overland Park, Kansas, and was designed to promote and support the Farmstead.

Family Membership:Overland Park Resident — $35 | Non resident — $50
Patron Membership: $100
Farm Trail and Schoolhouse Bricks — $50 each.
Benches and Swings — Bench donations are $400 and swings are $500.
Sunflower Club — Available from $500 – $5,000.
Beverly’s Butterfly Garden — Houses are $200 each, and benches are $400.

To support the park, the Friends of the Farmstead have established a volunteer program with many fun and exciting opportunities. Our volunteers make each visitor’s trip to the Farmstead a high quality and memorable one. Contact the Volunteer Coordinator at [email protected] or fill out a volunteer interest form.
The Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead, established in 1978, was designed to depict a turn of the century farm. This beautiful and diverse park provides a fun, safe and educational farm environment that cultivates an appreciation of farm life, wildlife and Kansas Heritage.

Fill your sifter and search for hidden treasures.
Goat Bottle Feeding$1 per bottle
Be sure to purchase a bottle to feed these little guys. Their antics are sure to bring a smile to all who see them.
Combo PacksSave $5
Purchase a combo pack for $10. Includes a ticket for each of the above activities.
Schoolhouse Crafts$2 each
Children delight in creating artistic crafts and taking them home. Gift Cards are available at Ticket Booth and General Store.
Birthday PartiesMonday – Thursday $100 | Friday – Sunday $150
Reservations required. Cost includes up to 40 admissions. Friday – Sunday. Additional guests are $2 each. Age 1 and under free.
The Farmstead offers a birthday package that includes:
• A reserved party corral for 2 ½ hours. Choose from 10 different corrals available.
• A souvenir T-shirt and cowpoke hat.
• 20 activity tickets to be redeemed at wagon rides, pony rides, fishing and/or mining.

Farm Tours
Monday – Friday, 9:30 am – 12:30 pm. Reservations required. $5 per person. Includes a guided tour, a wagon ride and feed for the goats.
History ToursMonday – Thursday, 9:30 am – 12:30 pm. Reservations required. $5 per person
