Implement the elementary school boundary change effective with the start of 2020-21 school year as recommended by the Demographic Trends and Facility Planning Committee

HIGH SCHOOL BOUNDARY CHANGE
Student currently attending Memorial High School will be allowed to remain at Memorial until they graduate if they choose to do so
CURRENT MIDDLE SCHOOL PROPOSAL
5th graders from the 2020-21 school year may choose to remain at their current school until they transition to middle school
TRANSITION PLAN
HIGH SCHOOL BOUNDARY CHANGE
Allow students in the boundary change area to choose to attend Memorial if they have concurrent enrollment with a sibling
CURRENT ELEMENTARY PROPOSAL
Allow students in the impacted boundary areas with siblings in 5th grade to choose to remain at their current school for one year, until the 5th grader moves to middle school

Transportation will be providedto students affected by the boundary change for the outlined transition times in which students may choose to remain at their current school
SUMMARY
1. Implement the elementary school boundary change effective with the start of 2020-21 school year as recommended by the Demographic Trends and Facility Planning Committee

1. Await Board approval of elementary facilities recommendation
2. Study 4K and Elementary Expansion options to make a future recommendation to the Board
