E. A. Posselt’s book Dictionary of Weaves, Part 1 contains nearly 1,900weaving patterns for four to nine shafts. (Additional parts were planned but neverpublished.)
Kris Bruland has digitized these patterns, corrected errors in about 40, andput WIFs for them on http://www.handweaving.net, where they can be downloadedwithout charge.
The patterns here have been derived from the WIFs and provided for brows-ing and easy identification of patterns of interest.
The patterns are organized by size, width first. Identifying numbers for theWIFs are given below the patterns. For example, 10869 refers to 10869.wif onhttp://www.handweaving.net.
