- Simply shutdown the system and swap the controllers
- Every configuration will remain intact
- Most important of all: persistence of WWN/IQN
. The system has 1 WWN/IQN for the Chassis and 4/8 WWPNs, 1 per port
. New controllers will use the same WWPNs using the config file to maintain host side consistency

Tiering vs. SSD Cache
Automated Tiering and SSD Read Cache cannot be used at the same time on the same controller
SSD Read Cache (being max 2 disks) is lower cost option than full
SSD tier, but does not help writes. Automated HDD Tiering between higher speed SAS and lower speed
NL-SAS is included with array. Optional license is required to tier with SSD.
