What is DMB ?
DMB (Digital Multimedia Broadcasting)
DMB is a new concept
in personal multimedia mobile broadcasting service
that converges telecommunications and broadcasting.
What is DMB ?
DMB (Digital Multimedia Broadcasting)
DMB was developed in South Korea under one of na-tional IT projects, as the next generation digital tech-nology to replace the FM radio.
The world’s first official mobile TV service
It can operate via satellite ( S-DMB) or terrestrial ( T-DMB) transmission.

There are a total of 28 channels. ( TV: 8chs, Radio: 12 chs, Data: 8 chs )
Customers can use the service anytime and anywhere.
The TV video channels consist of ground frequency retransmis-sion channels from program provider and various specialized program channels such as news, movies, sports, etc.

Services provided by the Satellite DMB There are a total of 37 channels.
( TV: 15chs, Radio: 19 chs, Data: 3 chs )Customers can use the service anytime and anywhere.
“TU Media” is first mobile broadcast service company in Korea. This company provides services on the S-DMB network with full coverage for Korean peninsula.
