Welcome to LBM Expo ’16: Strengthen Your Inde-
pendent Edge. In choosing the theme, we wanted
to portray exactly what will be delivered at the
Expo – all of the information you’ll need to
strengthen the independent supplier’s edge in
this fast-paced world of mergers, acquisitions,
and changing consumer trends.
For the fi rst time ever, LBM Expo will be held in Providence, R.I.,Feb. 10-12.
The new location offers attendees an easy commute via highway, rail, or air. You’ll
also appreciate the conveniently located hotels, larger show fl oor, new education
lineup, and new networking opportunities.
The show fl oor will offer a wide variety of vendors, 10 percent of which will be
new, while showcasing 1,000s of products, services, and show specials.
You’ll also want to take advantage of the LBM Expo education targeting the
issues directly impacting your future. Only at LBM Expo can you meet leading ex-
perts from US LBM and Kodiak Building Partners discussing why they’re choosing
to invest in the building material supply industry. LBM Expo will showcase the
Farnsworth Group sharing the latest data concerning consumer trends, Harvard’s
Joint Center for Housing Studies discussing projections for new construction and
remodeling, and Houzz teaching how to manage this powerful marketing tool.
The event also features Kellick and Associates discussing options to position your
business for the future and Mark Laliberte explaining how to capture more sales
through high performance buildings!
There will be plenty of entertainment and networking opportunities with
“The Cousins” Anthony Carrino and John Colaneri, stars of HGTV’s “Cousins on
Call,” “Kitchen Cousins,” and “America’s Most Desperate Kitchens” who will deliv-
er the opening day Keynote on Wednesday, Feb. 10. At the same time, NRLA will
honor its own stars: the 2015 Lumber Persons of the Year and Lifetime Achieve-
ment winners. A Welcome Reception will be held right off the show fl oor on
Wednesday night.
On Thursday, Feb. 11, at the Northeastern Young Lumber Executive’s (NYLE)
Annual Meeting, we will honor the 2016 CHIPs and Redwood Award recipients.
On the evening of Feb. 11 we will hold our fi rst ever “Discover Providence Walk-
about” where attendees can experience the uniqueness of several Providence
taverns via trolley and compete for fabulous prizes!
The show will end on a high note on Friday, Feb. 12, offering high quality
education and complimentary access to the show fl oor for retail members and
their customers.
I encourage you to take advantage of all the Expo has to offer. As always, the
convention will provide the chance to catch up with friends and make new ones. I
look forward to seeing you in Providence.

“We are very excited to be speaking at the NRLA’s LBM Expo, and to be hanging out with the suppliers that help make our jobs easier.”
– The Cousins, Remodeling Stars of HGTV
KEYNOTE PRESENTATION: THE COUSINS FROM HGTVWednesday, Feb. 10 • 2 – 3:15 p.m. Free, Space Limited – Must Reserve Seat In AdvanceBallroom A (5th Floor) • Includes Lumber Persons of the Year recognition
The Cousins—Anthony Carrino and John Colaneri—don’t just change structures,
they change lives.
That’s why they’ve become one of HGTV’s most talked about sensations since
fi rst debuting in 2011. These New Jersey-born fi rst cousins initially captured Amer-
ica’s attention with “Kitchen Cousins” where they brought numerous kitchens
across the States back to life. “Cousins On Call” saw them take home renovations
to a whole new level, while “Cousins Undercover” gave homeowner heroes the
surprise of a lifetime upon returning from weekend getaways. With 2015’s “Ameri-
ca’s Most Desperate Kitchens,” The Cousins take the next step, targeting the coun-
try’s most disastrous kitchens and re-envisioning them completely. Additionally,
the cousins continue to be regular special guests on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”
As the Keynote Speakers at LBM Expo’16, Carrino and Colaneri, bring a wealth
of contractor and remodeling experience to the show. Carrino is the co-founder of
Brunelleschi Construction based in Jersey City, N.J., where Colaneri also serves as
senior project manager and designer. Brunelleschi Construction is a premier urban
developer of mixed-use and adaptive re-use properties, specializing in transforming
underutilized buildings into dynamic residential and commercial properties.
The cousins promise to provide the keynote audience with a wealth of indus-
try knowledge, including information about the pulse of the remodeling market.
HONORING THE NRLA
