Ammoniated  product  grade  with  low  reactivity  and  pH  neutral.  Ideal  for  applications  where  acidity  has  the  ability  to  negatively  affect  the  polymer  network.

-‐HP:A

-‐XR  Untreated  product  grade  with  slightly  lower  reactivity  and  acidity  (pH  5-‐7)  due  to  2.0%  iron  oxide  content.

Release  profile  of  benzotriazole  from  Dragonite  with  different  stoppers  at  tube  ends

Controlled  Release    Dragonite’s  unique  hollow  tubular  morphology  enables  the  loading  and  controlled-‐release  of  a  range  of  active  agents  uniformly  and  in  appropriate  dosages  to  protect  against  mircrobial  growth  and  corrosion    Release  rates  can  be  engineered  through  the  selection  of  tube  geometry,  encapsulation,  and  tube-‐ending  stopper  complexes

Anti-‐Corrosive  Coatings    Dragonite  loaded  with  anticorrosive  agents  can  be  added  to  coatings  to  provide  long  efficacy  corrosion  resistance.      Figure  A.  Oil-‐based  paint  untreated  Figure  B.  Oil-‐based  paint  treated  with  Dragonite                                                    loaded  with  ammonium  molybdate

Functional  Filler    Dragonite  delivers  value  to  coatings  as  a  functional  filler  by  virtue  of  its  high  brightness,  purity,  and  tubular  structure    Advantages  as  a  Functional  Filler:

• Improved  mechanicals  • Resistance  to  weathering  and  rapid  deformation  • Extender:  opacity  and  rheology  • Suspending  and  thickening  agent
