This special issue has been considered as a necessarytechnologywhich can overcome the limitations and problemsof other modern technologies and lead to a new industrialrevolution. The future promise of nanotechnology dependson its high multidisciplinary nature and shared knowledgeand information from various fields which can be mergedand used to evolve as a revolutionary new technology. Con-sidering the potential impact of nanotechnology on futureindustry, many countries are investing huge research fundsand resources in the field of nanotechnology as one of theirtop research priorities.

The aim of the special issue is to share the novelknowledge covering the state of the art on biomimetics andnanobiomaterials providing an overview on their potentialapplications in the industrial, biomedical, and robotic fields. The research topics covered in the special issue includebioinspired materials, devices, structures, and graphene-based materials. The special issue will present current statusof the fields of biomimetics and biomaterials. This specialissuewill be a necessary platform for ongoing studies betweenresearchers from different areas (chemistry, physics, biology, medicine, engineering, robotics, etc.) within biomimetic andbiomaterial technologies.

We hope that this special issue reflects the current stateof nanotechnology for biomimetics and biomaterials and willbe a useful reference for researchers working in this researchfield.
