Here’s His plan…
First: Recognize and confess to God that
we all have sinned before Him. “For all have
sinned and fall short of the glory of God”
(Romans 3:23). “All we like sheep have gone
astray; we have turned every one to his own
way; and the LORD has laid on him [Jesus] the
iniquity of us all” (Isaiah 53:6).
Second: Realize that Jesus paid our sin-debt
by dying on the cross. Three days later God
raised Him from the dead. Jesus wants to save
you from an eternity separated from God.
“For Christ also suffered once for sins, the
righteous for the unrighteous, that he might
bring us to God” (1 Peter 3:18). “For God so
loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that
whoever believes in him [Jesus] should not
perish, but have eternal life” (John 3:16).
Third: Receive Christ as your personal Savior.
“To all who did receive him, who believed in
his name, he gave the right to become children
of God” (John 1:12). “Everyone who calls
on the name of the Lord will be saved” from eternity in hell (Romans 10:13).
If you will pray this short prayer and sincerely mean it in your heart, the Lord will hear you and make you one of His own children. You will be forgiven and receive God’s gift of eternal life. And that’s the most wonderful blessing from God you’ll ever receive in this blessed country!
Dear God, I confess I have sinned against You. I accept what Christ did for me on the cross as payment for my sins. Please cleanse my heart from my sins and save me right now. Amen.

God Bless AmericaIt’s as much at home being sung in stadiums
packed with thousands of sports fans as it is
in churches filled with reflective audiences.
Regardless of the setting, “God Bless
America” has fittingly become our nation’s
prayer and rallying cry since the events of
September 11, 2001.
God bless America, land that I love.
Stand beside her, and guide her
Through the night with a light from above.
From the mountains to the prairies
To the oceans white with foam,
God bless America, my home, sweet home.
God bless America, my home, sweet home.
This “solemn prayer” for America has already
been answered in countless ways and in
millions of lives. We are so blessed to live,
laugh, and love in freedom—freedom to enjoy
all that our hearts hold so dear.
God has generously blessed our nation, from the peaceful Pacific that bathes our western
shores to the restless Atlantic in the east; from the massive Great Lakes in the north to the Gulf of Mexico in the south. The unique cities and towns that dot our land,
the rolling hills, the spacious plains, the majestic mountains, and the colorful deserts all make
up what we lovingly call “America.” Truly this is our “home, sweet home.”
We are a diverse population, gathered from the four corners
of the earth, working together to make America a unique and unparalleled
nation in which to live.
Approaching our country through New York Harbor
and passing by “Lady Liberty” that has stood
for more than a century, one can see the message
she displays: “Give me your tired, your poor,
your huddled masses yearning to breathe free . . .
send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me.”
America offers to share its opportunities with
people of every nationality and ethnic origin and
invites them to live in this great land.
But in the midst of these benefits we often fail
to recognize the greatest blessing that we, and
all people of the world, were created for—a
personal relationship with Jesus Christ. And this
can only be possible through true repentance.
The Bible says, “Unless you repent, you will
all likewise perish” (Luke 13:5). And in Acts
17:30 we read, “God . . . commands all people
everywhere to repent.” The meaning of the
word repent is “change your mind.” It’s doing
a complete turnaround. Instead of going away
from God, we must turn toward Him and accept
His plan for our lives.
