Grainger CEME/IEEE Sponsored Workshop on a Technology Roadmap for Large Electrical Machines
Workshop goal:Draft a consensus-based technology roadmap with a 5 – 10 year time frame for large (1-10MW) electrical machines (that convert electrical energy to mechanical, and vice-versa) and required auxiliaries.

Meeting Guidelines
§ The roadmap initiative is an official workshop co-sponsored by the IEEE
§ This exercise shall be conducted in compliance with all applicable laws, including antitrust and competition laws
§ Minutes will be kept, discussions can become public
§ Discussions should be related to fundamental technology issues and broad application needs for MW+ class machines
§ Don’t share or discuss any company proprietary information
