Niagara Parks was established in 1885 to preserve and protect the land surrounding Niagara Falls and the Niagara River. Travel along the 56-kilometre Niagara Parkway and experience our sprawling parkland, natural attractions, restaurants featuring local fare, celebrated golf courses and restored heritage sites.
Since its inception, Niagara Parks has operated in a self-sustaining manner, as it receives no operational funding from the provincial government. Every dollar you spend at Niagara Parks helps preserve the nature and heritage of the Niagara River corridor.

A BRIGHTER ILLUMINATION
In December 2016, the Niagara Falls Illumination Board unveiled its new energy efficient LED illumination system in Niagara Falls. The new multi-million dollar lighting system provides more than twice the previous lighting levels, programmable lighting and a wider spectrum of colour, offering both new and returning guests an entirely new way to experience Niagara Falls at night. Niagara Falls is illuminated every evening beginning at dusk. There is no cost to view Niagara Falls or the nightly illumination.
Experience a thrilling adventure behind the falls after dark with Night Lights. Enjoy exclusive after-hours access to one of Niagara Parks’ signature attractions and explore the 130-year-old tunnels at the base of the Horseshoe Falls. Stand beneath the stars and witness the thunderous falls as a brilliantly illuminated, multi-coloured masterpiece accentuated by sparkling fireworks.
Upgrade your experience to include a three-course prix fixe dinner at Table Rock House Restaurant, just steps from the falls.
Group Planner 2021 7
Situated on the upper level of Table Rock Centre, only steps from the brink of Horseshoe Falls, Table Rock House Restaurant offers locally sourced and internationally inspired menus. Canadian Niagara Power Generating Station
The Canadian Niagara Power Generating Station is a marvel of engineering and architecture. Completed in 1905, it was the first major power plant on the Canadian side of the Niagara River, and a pioneer in the development of hydroelectric power in the province of Ontario.
Since acquiring ownership of the decommissioned power plant in 2009, Niagara Parks has explored options for its potential reuse and is currently moving forward with plans for a new, one-of-a-kind guest experience to open at the site in 2021.
