1. REFERENCE SECTION 033000 - CAST-IN-PLACE CONCRETE FOR SPECIFICATIONS.2. REFERENCE SHEAR WALL PLAN FOR HOLD DOWN LOCATIONS AND TYPES.3. SUBGRADE MATERIALS SHALL BE COMPACTED TO MINIMUM 95% MAXIMUM DRY DENSITY. COMPACTION TESTED SHALL BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO PLACEMENT OF
CONCRETE IN FOOTINGS. REFERENCE SOILS REPORT.4. REBAR, WHERE POSSIBLE, SHALL HAVE A 3" CLEARANCE FROM ANY CONCRETE SURFACE. ALL HORIZONTAL BARS ARE CONTINUOUS UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED.
TWO #5 REBARS SHALL AT 45 DEGREES TO THE CORNERS OF ALL FOUNDATION BLOCKOUTS.5. WORK AND MATERIALS SHALL COMPLY WITH ACI, CRSI, NLMA, UBC, AND ALL LOCAL CODES.6. GRADING SHOULD BE SUCH THAT THE SURFACE WATER IS DRAINED AWAY FROM THE FOUNDATION. MINIMUM GRADE WOULD BE 1' VERTICAL DROP PER 10'

7. FOUNDATION PLATES OR SILLS ARE REQUIRED TO BE BOLTED TO THE FOUNDATION WALL WITH NOT LESS THAN 1/2" DIAMETER STEEL BOLTS EMBEDDED AT LEAST 7"INTO THE CONCRETE AND SPACED NOT MORE THAN 4' APART. THERE SHALL BE A MINIMUM OF 2 BOLTS FOR EACH PIECE OF WOOD WITH ONE BOLT LOCATED WITHIN12" OF EACH END OF EACH PIECE. A PROPERLY SIZED NUT AND WASHER SHALL BE TIGHTENED ON EACH BOLT TO THE PLATE.
