WHO WE ARE WHAT WE DO ?IES Istanbul Expatriate Services was formed in 2011 in order to fill a gap in the market for a seamless, flexible and complete relocation support for foreigners in Istanbul.

We saw the need for a dynamic and professional service provider who will work together with the HR professionals to ease their workload in all expatriate related matters.

Our goal is to ensure that the new expatriate to Istanbul avoids the usual pitfalls and is able to tail up employment with the least amount of problems by receiving full relocation and immigration support when it comes to setting up a life in Istanbul, whether it will be on a temporary or on a permanent basis.

Our international team of experienced, multi-lingual consultants is dedicated to providing the highest level of relocation support available. Formerly the Chief Executive Officer of both Ernst & Young’s and previously Arthur Andersen’s Human Capital practice, Brian has worked in Global Mobility and Expatriate Management for over 25 years.

EOur deeply-held belief is that service providers have tended to look at expatriate management through the wrong end of the telescope – that is, focusing on the service they offer the assignee. In reality, the issue needs to be considered from the perspective of the assignee and the in-house global mobility professional.

The real issue is moving an employee (and accompanying family) from one location to another. It is not a question of relocation, HR, tax, schooling, banking or any other of the myriad issues facing the assignee. Rather it is all of them, with an international twist added in for good measure.

To address this problem, we believe there is a clear need for an online community of International Human Resource and Global Mobility professionals that is wholly inclusive in nature and open to both in-house and service provider professionals alike.
