• Working Memory - recall facts, remember what has been said, remember own response, simple instructions, etc.

• Cognitive Flexibility – gathering the thinking of others and new information, and testing to see how it fits with existing views, making adjustments to own thinking

• Inhibitory Control - patience while actively listening, resisting temptation to call out or respond spontaneously to the speaker
