INTANGIBLE

Impetus- Make the intangible tangible

If I make a dynamic, tangible sculpture representing an imperceptible force, assigning it interactive attributes from its spectrum’s data, I propose that participants interacting with it could form conclusions about its existence.

Proposition/ Hypothesis

Concept:

Interactive Electro-Kinetic sculpture inspired In the intangible shape and movement of radio frequency waves.

Interactivity:

Users are able to trigger a subtle vibration with the use of their cell phones.

The sculpture vibrates according to cell phone and WiFi Radio frequenciesin the ambient where installed.

Audience role: Make/receive calls

Target: Anyone that has or is near someone with a cell phone

Physical and digital communication forms to represent intangible

elements, like data, concepts or even words.
