Internationalization in the context of university autonomy: challenges and perspectives.
OPINIONS● Currently, internationalization is seen as a process which
prepares students for a globalized world;
● Following the important dimension of internalization that has been proposed as a key direction for HEIs from the region, the USARB has been listing and accomplishing all of the proposed objectives, very often going beyond the planned agenda of activities;
● Internalization may be regarded from different perspectives by different actors of the university community: e.g;
● students benefit from studying abroad for a short period or completing their post-graduate studies made possible due to created consortiums, implemented projects or established collaborations between universities;
● We live in the age of globalization and internationalization is an imperative of the time.
