POSITION: SUPERVISOR – INTERPRETER/ TRANSLATOR SERVICE

Job opportunity in Abu Dhabi
• Models and promotes a culture of empathy, respect and “patient first” for all interpreter service activities.
• Helps manage quality assurance and performance improvement activities within the Interpreter Service department.
• Interprets, translates and ensures compliance with all appropriate codes and standards.
• Provides technical expertise on all matters related to interpreter and translation service practices and technology.
• Conducts training on interpreter and translation service procedures and practices.
• Provides direct supervision of Interpreter and Translator Service department team members.
• Minimum of two to four (2-4) years of experience as an interpreter/
translator is required. • Knowledge of interpretation/ translation best practices and technologies. • Demonstrated understanding of all regulatory requirements related to the
field of interpreter and translation services. • Ability to work effectively and efficiently toward goals in a complex, diverse
environment with changing demands. • Strong interpersonal skills. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Ability to speak and write in English is required. • Ability to speak and write in both English and Arabic is preferred. • Health care industry experience is preferred. • Managerial and/or supervisory experience is preferred.
