Peace starts with a smile. (Mother Teresa) Some Calls are Meant to be Answered! - Have you ever considered being a priest? What an awesome life it is! Do not be afraid to HEED THE CALL of Christ. For more information, please see our website www.HeedTheCall.org or call 610-667-5778. The priests of tomorrow are in our midst. They are members of this parish. They are members of our own families. Encourage Vocations, pray for the gift. Obey your leaders and submit to them; they are keeping watch over your souls, as men who will have to give account. Let them do this joyfully, and not sadly, for that would be of no advantage to you. Hebrews 13:17

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION WHAT DRAWS PEOPLE INTO THE CATHOLIC FAITH? While there are many different circumstances that lead a person in the direction of Catholicism, the simple answer is, “Because God has called them.” Most often, God calls to us through the people closest to us, through our families and friends. Most who have entered the Church have been influenced by a Catholic spouse, fiancé, or close friend. For many of these people, a desire to raise their children in the knowledge of God spurred them to action. What is this if not the action of the Holy Spirit? If you, or someone you know, is interested in learning more about Catholic Faith and Worship contact Louis Valenti at 610-687-2481 or email [email protected].
CATECHISTS NEEDED: If you are an adult who is a practicing Catholic in good standing, who is willing to teach Catholic Faith and Morals to the children of our parish, please contact the office of Religious Education at (610) 687-2481 or [email protected] and schedule an interview with the director. All catechists, aides and volunteers must submit or obtain all required clearances and training in order to work with children. Please note that the parish will pay the fees for these clearances. Catechists are needed for the following classes: Sunday’s 9:00-10:15 am, 3rd and 6th grades. Volunteers are also needed for a couple of classes throughout the year as testers and substitutes, if interested please contact us. 2019-2020 C.C.D. Registration: St. Isaac Jogues Parish offers Religious Education classes for all children in the parish who are not currently enrolled in Catholic School for grades Kindergarten through 7th grade.
