...From the Exalted Ruler
March 2020
Greetings Fellow Elks: Well it has been my pleasure to be your ER for the past 20 months. I have tried my best to help our lodge. There is still a lot more to accomplish. Jim Norton has stepped up as your new ER. Sharon Flores as your new Leading Knight. A Few new members running for other openings as well. You will see them in the next Grape Press. We accomplished so much together I'm very proud of our Lodge. I know we got put on probation, I totally disagreed with it! But we will soon be off it I'm sure. $4500 in GRANTS this year, Jen Lozo, you amaze me! Thank You. My Officer core, what can I say, you stood by me and this Lodge without hesitation. I could not have made it without you, A BIG THANKS! To our membership I will say you are the best in Elkdom. I transferred to Lodi Lodge 1900 and became Leading Knight in the same Month. Then ER when Glen had to leave early. You made me feel like I belonged in this lodge. I have 15 years as an Elk and the best of it was here. Lodi Lodge 1900 Strong!
Fraternally Yours, Mike Patterson Exalted Ruler

ELK OF THE MONTH
March 2020
The last Elk of the Month for 2019/2020 year. This Elk has been working very hard to improve our lodge. He has been behind the scenes doing what might not have been done in a very long time. He called our delinquent members by phone to get them back on board. His success has been incredible! We were down to 3.7 %. Best in our district. His kind ways paid off for our Lodge. Darryl McClaine, this Lodge thanks you. Congrats on Elk of the Month!
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Our Lodge is in need of a lot of maintenance and repairs. Mike An-derson is putting together a commit-tee of volunteers to get the much needed work done. Even 1 hour is helpful and your dedication to the Lodge is much appreciated.
Please call Mike Anderson at: (510)919-0135
March is $10.00 Application Month
If you have friends that want to become Elks members, let them
know they can sign up at a discounted application fee for the
entire month of March! The application fee is normally $75.00 so that is a $65.00 savings! Who
wants to save some money???
Applications are available at the bar, in the office and outside the
office.
