DON’Ts
If you are in Ireland for prac+cing English, you shouldn’t speak in your mother language.
DOs You have to taste typical Irish food. Especially
typical Irish breakfast, it’s rich!
Ireland is famous because it’s a green country and
it has a lot of parks. You should visit, in par+cular,
Phoenix Park and Stephen’s Green Park and Bushy
Park.
In Ireland the weather changes a lot during the day, so it’s be3er to wear different kinds of
clothes, for example, k-way, sweatshirt, t-shirts and etc.
Ireland is not only famous for the beer, but also for its music and dance. If you go to an Irish
pub you can find typical Irish music, some+mes with dancers too! Irish dancing, popularized in
1994 by the world-famous show “Riverdance”, is notable for its rapid leg and foot movements,
body and arms being kept largely sta+onary. So, don’t miss it!

Atlan+c Ocean in The West of the Country.

lin: Christchurch Cathedral & St. Patrick Cathedral

Always take a pocket umbrella
or wear clothes with a hood,
because the weather is very
changeable, so usually it rains
and it is very windy and aDer
some minutes the sun shines. Wear comfortable shoes, because Dublin isn’t very large, so you can visit and discover everything by walking
Taste the “fresh cod” and the “smoked cod” (Go to Leo Bur-
ne3, it is the best fish and chips in Dublin for me), so when you
will return home you’ll be able to sell your friends your knowledge
about the difference between the two recipes.
Be careful with the
drunk people that ask
for change in the street:
they seem quiet but it
would be
be3er not
to argue
whit them.
Don’t make the usual mis-take to think the Irish people are like Bri+sh people. Respect the Irish history!
Don’t wait always for the green light when
you cross the street, because the traffic
light lasts very long! Find the proper +me
(when there aren’t cars!) and cross the
street carefully! Antonello Giovane

It is quite surprising for me to hear that French people are not very popular. Everybody says that French
people are not so welcoming! But once you get over this, you can discover such a beau+ful country.
First of all, there is our capital city, the so-called “city of light”: Paris. Everything is gorgeous in Paris!
There is so much to do in Paris that a month will not be enough to get to know the city perfectly. In Paris
there is always a li3le street where you can find a li3le café which makes some delicious cakes. I
recommend it to you, aDer you see all the tourist sights, push mansion’s doors to discover some beau+ful
and unexpected gardens. But Paris is not France; it is just the showcase of France. In France are many
different landscapes which some+mes make you think you are not in the same country anymore. I
recommend you to go in Bretagne and Normandy, on the North-West, to see the Mont-Saint-Michel, one
of the most beau+ful sites of France. There is an abbey which goes up from the sea. Bretagne is in many
ways similar to Ireland: it has the same weather and the same green landscapes.
I also put forward to go to the South of France where you have two kinds of landscape: on the
South-West there are hinterlands but on the Atlan+c coast you can find some huge sandy beaches where
you can go surfing. In the South-East you will discover some beau+ful ci+es, such as Grace or
Saint-Tropez. These small ci+es are very touris+c because they epitomise the typical sweet village of the
South of France. In the Mediterranean Sea you can do diving to see all the beau+ful fishes the sea offers
us, and you can pass a day at “Porquerolles Island” discovering the generous flora of the island.
Of course, if you decide to pass some holidays in France, you have to eat French food (it’s an order!).
When I say eat French food I obviously mean to eat some French cheeses with bread and drink claret with
a slice of “Foie-gras”. You can eat some typical courses such as “Cassoulet”, “Pot-au-feu or Boeuf-
bourguignon“.
Last but not least, you obviously know that France is the country of wine and champagne. You can find a
wide panel of wines and the choice can be difficult. The best way to drink many great wines is to go to a
“bar-a-vin” where you can have some fun at a party. There are a lot of par+es in France and you can be a
part of it easily. I hope that your next journey will take you to a part of France. There are too many things
to see in France and I cannot tell you everything about my country. I hope this ar+cle gives you the desire
to come to France and to discover my country yourself.

I’m going to explain you the reasons why you need to visit my country. There are a lot of reasons
for you to come to Brazil. The food, the places, the weather, everything is amazing!
I live in a country where other people want to go on holidays.
You can try different food in Brazil, “acaraje” (cake made with beans), “pao de queijo” (bread
made with cheese), and other kinds of food. You can taste many fresh and different fruits and eat
them whenever you want, because they are very cheap, and we have a lot of them.
The places that are wonderful include the beaches, the jungle, the cliffs, the waterfall, and many
types of natural beauty. But if you want you can see big buildings and the tenth biggest city on the
planet.
Brazil is the nicest country on earth. I’m sure you will enjoy it.
BRAZIL
I’m wring this arcle because I want to tell you about a beauful place, where you can spend a holiday
you won’t ever forget. I guarantee you, you will enjoy every day. I’m talking about Italy.
Italy is divided into a lot of regions. The regions are very different, because of the weather, costumes,
people and landmarks. Now I want to tell you about Lombardia, a region in the northern part of the Italy.
I’ll start telling you about Milano, the capital city. In Milan you’ll find the famous Duomo, which is a big
church tesmony of Gothic architecture. You can also visit “Castello Sforzesco” which is rich in museums,
or, if you like the theatre, you can spend a day at “teatro alla scala”, that has also famous and important
school of ballet which is very famous. If you love shopping and brand clothes, you can go to “galleria Vi.o-
rio Emanuele II”, a gallery with lot of shops and luxury restaurants, or you can spend a holiday during the
famous fashion week. If you love food, you should try the typical “riso.o alla Milanese” with saffron, or
“cotole.a alla milanese” and lot of other fantasc dishes. If you want to go out all night, no problem! You
can hang out to “colonne di San Lorenzo,” or “piazza Garibaldi”, and if you want to go to a disco, you can
try “Hollywood” and “Casablanca”. They are famous because they are frequently visited by models and
showgirls. Enjoy your days, ciao! Giulia

VENEZUELA
I want to recommend vising my country Venezuela because it has a lot of things to offer. Venezuela is known
for its oil resources and its beauful women but actually Venezuela has a lot of incredible landscapes. You can
go to beaches, the mountains, the plains, the jungle and feel the heat of the desert. Likewise you can stay in the
German Villages and enjoy the German gastronomy. If you visit my country, you will share the local fesvies.
You can see fantasc typical dances full joy and colour. You can taste our delicious dishes such as “hallacas”,
“pabellon” and “arepas”.
If you like beaches, you can go to “La Tortuga“ ,”Los Roques“or “La Orchila“.They are Venezuelan paradises and
your eyes get lost in the turquoise blue sea. Here you can pracse water sports and you can eat delicious sea-
food. If you want to boost your adrenaline, you can go to the jungle .You can go to the “Great Savana” you will
have to cross rivers and mountains. You will sleep on the rocks and walk to “Auyantepuy”. Here you will get
struck by the majesc nature. You will see the “ Salto Angel “which is the highest fall in the world .
If you want to play in the snow, you have to go to “Bolivar Mountain”. It is 5.000 meters and you will have an
amazing view. If you want to play in the desert , you have to go to “ Los Medanos de Coro “. There are beau-
ful dunes in the sand.
If you want to go hunng, you have to go to the Venezuela plains. You can do horseback riding there as well.
If you want to dance all night and drink with your friends you should visit Caracas that is the capital of my coun-
try. It has a lot of malls, theaters, restaurants .You will never forget this cosmopolitan city. If you want to stay
in the German Villages. You can go to the “Colonia Tovar” .Venezuela has to offer a lot of wonderful things but
Venezuelan people is definitely the best.
