l'energia termica fornita dall'ambiente esterno (calore) in lavoro.
ᶯ = = = 1 -L Q2 – Q1 Q1
Q2 Q2 Q2
apparati (macchine generatrici o operatrici).
Descrive l'originale motore Stirling che fu
inventato e brevettato nel 1816 dal reverendo
Robert Stirling aiutato sostanzialmente dal
fratello ingegnere.
maggiore.
inutilizzabili

The principle is simple and is based on a container
with two valves. The steam pushes the water
contained in the reservoir upward, and then the
vacuum established by the condensation creates a
depression that sucks the water that comes from
below. It is a machine without a piston intended
for a single use: the emptying of the water from
the bottom of the mines
home
In this illustration you can see that the
openings of the intake valves of the steam and
the cooling water are opened mechanically by
means of two levers. There is a secondary
pump and accessory, used to fill the tank of
cold water intended for steam condensation.
The machinery works via the steam produced
in the boiler, which is entered through the
opening of the valve in the cylinder
determining, thanks to its expansion, the
raising of the barbell. The opening of the first
valve and the closing of the second leaves flow
the steam in the condenser, thereby lowering
the barbell. In the condenser, a jet of cold
water condenses the steam, and letting it flow
through the exhaust valve. The machine is now
able to resume the cycle.
In thermo-mechanical a heat engine is a physical or theoretical device that converts
thermal energy supplied by the external environment (heat) into work. The thermal
machines are typically cyclical and are therefore physically described by a thermodynamic
cycle.
Every thermal machines abides at this formula:
ᶯ = = = 1 -L Q2 – Q1 Q1
Q2 Q2 Q2
The Stirling’s cycle is a thermodynamic cycle
that describes the operation of a class of
devices (generating machines or operators).
Describes the original Stirling engine that was
invented and patented in 1816 by the
Reverend Robert Stirling substantially helped
by his brother engineer.
The Carnot cycle has the property of being the
thermodynamic cycle that evolves between
the two sources with greater thermodynamic
efficiency. There is no other cycle that has as
extreme temperatures the same isotherms of
the Carnot cycle, so as to have a higher
performaances than that of Carnot.
Entropy is the tendency of the energy transformations to be mechanically unusable

TRASFORMAZIONE ISOCORA
HOME
In termodinamica una trasformazione isobara
gas aumentano.
HOME
interna: ∆U=0
HOME
esterno.
Cmp=R+Cmv

ISOCHORIC TRANSFORMATION
In thermodynamics an isochoric
transformation is a variation of the state of a
gas, during which the volume remains
constant while the pressure and temperature
increase.
AN ISOCHORIC TRANSFORMATION HAS:
A supply of heat Q: Q=Cmvn∆T
A change in internal energy of the gas: ∆U=Cmvn∆T
Because the volume remains the same, there isn’t work: L = 0
HOME
In thermodynamics, an isobaric transformation
is a thermodynamic transformation of the state of
a gas, during which the pressure remains constant
while the volume and temperature of the gas
increases.
AN ADIABATIC TRANSFORMATION HAS:
A supply of heat Q: : Q= Cmpn∆T
A completion of work L: L=P∆V=nR∆T
A change in internal energy of the gas: ∆U=Cmvn∆T
The pressure remains unchanged
HOME
In thermodynamics an isothermal
transformation is a variation of the state of a
gas, during which the temperature remains
constant while the volume or pressure
increases.
AN ISOTHERM TRANSFORMATION HAS:
A completion of work L: L=nRTln(V2/V1)
Volume increase at the expense of pressure
Pressure increase at the expanse of volume
Because the temperature remains unchanged, there isn’t change in internal
energy: ∆U=0
HOME
In thermodynamics an adiabatic
transformation is a variation of the
parameters P, V, T of the system without
producing any heat exchange with the
external environment.
AN ADIABATIC TRANSFORMATION HAS:
A completion of work L: L=-Cmvn∆T
A change in internal energy of the gas : ∆U=Cmvn∆T
A variation of parameters P, V, T
Because it produces no heat exchange with the outside: Q=0
HOME
We define a finite sequence of thermodynamic cycle
thermodynamic transformations after which the system
returns to its initial state.
A THERMODYNAMIC CYCLE HAS:
A completion of work L : Labcda=(Pa-Pd)x(Vb-Va)
A supply of heat Q : Q=L
A variation of parameters P, V, T
Because in a thermodynamic cycle the temperature returns to its initial
state:∆U=0
HOME
It defines thermodynamic transformation of a gas a sequence of modifications of
the values of thermodynamic pressure P, volume V, the temperature T of the gas
itself which leads to a state characterized by the values P1, V1, T1 to a state
characterized by the values P2, V2, T2.
HOME
A thermodynamic transformation is said reversible when at every point in the volume V of
the gas, you can find an identical value of an identical pressure and temperature value.
A thermodynamic transformation is says irreversible when at every point in the volume V of
the gas, it is impossible to identify an identical value of an identical pressure and
temperature value.
HOME
Substituting from the first law of thermodynamics the three reports in the
isobaric transformation, it is possible to derive the following relationship:
Cmp=R+Cmv
This report is called "relationship Mayer," which correlates the specific heat at
constant volume and pressure of an ideal gas.
