1. Online learning has now
surpassed classroom
learning as the most popular
form of learning in Asia. This
is a notable shift given that in
2012 there was a 21%
difference between the two
forms of learning in favour of
classroom learning.
2. Blended learning is
accelerating at a noticeable
rate. Traditional classroom
training is being replaced by
more of a multi modal blended

Since PSI (Population Services
International), a member of the LINGOs
(Learning for International Non-
Government Organizations) began
operations, the Learning and Development
(L&D) team at PSI faced a number of
complex challenges. PSI has offices in 67
developing countries and these countries
have varying degrees of connectivity to the
Internet; they operate in dozens of
languages; and they work in many types of
demanding environments. In addition,
PSI’s global staff asked the L&D team to
help them improve their skills faster, more
effectively and at a lower cost. PSI
therefore decided to look at the potential

Cegos has been working with this organisation since early 2012. The first project was to implement the Cegos suite of
ready-to-go eLearning modules for 2000 of their staff. The twenty modules covered professional effectiveness topics,
with two being localised into Indonesian Bahasa covering key topics for team development around Presentation Skills
and Innovation.
Following this Cegos moved on to provide eServices consulting to this entity, training their learning team in the latest
Instructional Design and Storyboarding techniques for the production of blended and eLearning solutions.
