La dpouille mortelle de chacun des 158 ( date) militaires dcds en Afghanistan est rapatrie par vol spcial la base arienne de Trenton, en Ontario, o lattendent sa famille, rconforte par le Chef de ltat et les plus hautes instances des Forces armes.

Lautopsie, exigence lgale, est confie au Coroner-en-chef de lOntario, Toronto. Le cortge funbre parcourt les deux heures dautoroute qui sparent les deux villes.

The autopsy, a legal requirement, is entrusted to the Coroner-in-Chief of Ontario, in Toronto. The funeral convoy is escorted throughout the two-hour journey between the two cities. There are fifty bridges along the way.
