OrientationExplain to students the process of making chocolate crackles. Clean tables and hands and collect equipment needed. Place ingredients on tables. EQUIPMENT: spoon, patty cake cases and large mixing bowl. INGREDIENTS: 4 cups rice bubbles, 1 ½ cups icing sugar, 250g copha chopped and 3 tbsp cocoa. Extra ingredients optional: marshmallows, sprinkles, soft lollies. Access to microwave and fridge. Serves 24.

ModelledDemonstrate making chocolate crackles with students following the steps. STEPS: 1) In a large mixing bowl mix rice bubbles, icing sugar and cocoa. 2) Melt copha in a microwave. Allow to cool slowly 3) Add copha to mixture in bowl and stir until all combined. 4) Spoon mixture in patty cake cases. 5) Add extra toppings if desired. 6) Put in fridge until firm.
