Welcome to the 20th manchester jazz festivalWeve come a long way since 1996, when a group of jazz enthusiasts assembled to plan a one day jazz festival for the people of Manchester. Now, 20 festivals and almost 5000 artist performances later, mjf is one of the highlights of Manchesters cultural calendar
and widely acknowledged as the UKs leading festival for contemporary jazz.
mjf is Manchesters longest-running music festival - a celebration of northern music, northern talent, the best contemporary jazz from the UK and abroad, good times, great company and the best of Manchester.
We couldnt have done it without the support of artists, listeners, volunteers, funders, sponsors and staff past and present
a resounding thank you goes out to you all.
Join us as we celebrate 20 summers of jazz.
