TheNJROTCAnnualMilitaryInspectionwasconductedyesterdaybyCommanderKennethA.Liles,U.S.Navy(Retired),whoistheNJROTCAreaManagerforthesouthwesternUnitedStates.Themorningstartedoutwiththeplatooninspections.82percentofthecadetsreceivedanoutstandinginuniformappearance.
Theceremonystartedat9:30a.m.intheStadiumwithaTroopingoftheColors,followedbyanawardsceremony,ademonstrationofin-placeandmarchingdrill,andculminatingwithaCompanyPassinReview.TheUnit’saward
winning Drill Teams alsogave an exhibition drillperformance. Followingthe ceremony, the cadetstaffofficers heldabriefingand inspected on the Unit’sadministrative and supplyprocedures.
Once again, The UnitsreceivedanoverallInspectionofOutstanding, and is onceagain, in the running to benominatedinthetop20%ofNJROTC units in the nation.Article submitted by ChrisHouston
