Genesis 17:5 No longer will you be called Abram; your name will
be Abraham, for I have made you a father of many nations.
Romans 4:13 It was not through law that Abraham and his [seed]
received the promise that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness that
comes by faith.
Genesis 17:15,16 God also said to Abraham, "As for Sarai your wife, you are no longer to call her Sarai; her name will be Sarah. I will bless her and will surely give you a son by her. I will bless her so that she will be the mother of nations; kings of
peoples will come from her".
Genesis 15:6 / Romans 4:3 Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness.
Genesis 21:2,3 Sarah became pregnant and bore a son to Abraham in his old age, at the very time God had promised him. Abraham gave the name Isaac to the son
Sarah bore him .
(NOTE: Isaac means "he laughs")
Genesis 21:9,14 But Sarah saw that the son whom Hagar the Egyptian had borne to Abraham
was mocking,
Early the next morning Abraham took some food and a skin of water and gave them to Hagar. He set them on her shoulders and then sent her off with the boy. She went on her way and wandered in the desert of Beersheba.
Genesis 18:16-18 Then the LORD said, "Shall I hide from
Abraham what I am about to do? Abraham will surely become a great and powerful nation, and all nations on earth
will be blessed through
him.

Genesis 22:11,12
But the angel of the LORD called out to him from heaven, “Abraham! Abraham!” “Here I am," he replied. "Do not lay a hand on the boy," he said. "Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God, because you have not withheld from me your son, your only son."
Abraham
Genesis 22:14-18 So Abraham called that place "The LORD Will Provide." And to this day it is said, "On the mountain of the LORD it will be provided."
The angel of the LORD called to Abraham…and said… "I will surely bless you and make your [seed]… numerous …through your [seed] all nations on earth will be blessed…"

Genesis 25:7-9 Altogether, Abraham lived a hundred and seventy-five years. Then Abraham breathed his last and died at a good old age, an old man and full of years; and he was gathered to his people. His sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah near Mamre.
Abraham answered, "God himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering, my son ".
Genesis 22:8Genesis 22:8
Genesis 25:21-23 Isaac prayed to the LORD on behalf of his wife, because she was barren. So she went to inquire of
the LORD .
The LORD said to her, "Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples from within you will be separated; one people will be stronger than the other, and the older will serve
the younger ".
