What is Excel?
- Excel is an electronic spreadsheet program.
* It is used for the storing, organizing, and manipulation of data.
- Data is entered into cells, which are organized into columns and rows.
- Data can be text, it can be numbers, or even formulas.

A workbook is another word for your Excel file. Excel automatically creates a
blank workbook when you open it.
A worksheet is a collection of cells where you keep and manipulate the data. By
default, each Excel workbook contains three worksheets.

By grouping worksheet,
you can edit them at
the same time.
To do so hold down
CTRL and click on the
sheet tab you want to
group

New Window creates a new window with the

Arrange All indicates how to rearrange the
windows

You can check your work in Excel and
