COMPACT 200 RAPID REACTION BRIDGE SYSTEM
The design of the Mabey Compact 200 bridge allows the system to be used in a logistic role throughout the support area. As a Line of Communication bridge it can carry loads of up to Class 110 over gaps of up to 60m (200ft). The bridge is ideally suited for areas where speed of deployment is vital.
Modern Improvements
Rapid Construction The bridge is designed to be built by hand. A 30m bridge can be assembled and conventionally launched by 29 men in two or three hours, depending on site conditions. Where cranes or materials handling equipment is available, the total number of man hours to assemble a bridge is substantially reduced.
