What is the Neonatal Data Analysis Unit
• An independent academic unit, launched in 2007, led
by a Steering Board
• An initiative that aims to improve electronic data
quality and develop their use to improve clinical care
and service planning, and for health services and
clinical research
• Builds on the principal that data should be captured
once and should be of high quality
